Starting with a small enclosed kitchenette, our team transformed this compact space into an open and connected kitchen and dining room fitted with all the essential modern appliances in a relaxing, beachy style.

Accenting the teal glass backsplash tile is the cozy window seat with a colorful vibrant diamond pattern. In Small spaces you need to maximize every inch. In this space a custom bench seat was made to not only cozy up and read a book but also to use as storage for bigger beach items like umbrellas and an additional air mattress! A reading light and plug were added to the wall for additional light while reading and a place to change your phone while in use. The layered patterned pillows add fun and excitement to the small corner space. With a touch of beach decor the small studio apartment does not become overwhelmed with clique items.

Alterations and additions to a house in Port Macquarie. The site had awesome views to south and east. We introduced northern light into the ground floor living areas via courtyards. The courtyards act as protected outdoor living spaces when the southerlies are blowing. Planning allows for ocean views from all living area and all bedrooms while still having good access to north sun and north easterly cooling breezes in summer. Builder Tim Sales. Photos Simon Martin

The Brief: To create a kitchen that was not only practical but also a room in which to make you smile. Memories of holidays past enter your mind when you are stood in this light and airy space. Different shades of blue along with greys and the odd pop of orange give this kitchen it's 'wow' factor.

This kitchen has white Waypoint Cabinets with a Typhoon Green granite countertop. We used the Whirlpool Gold appliance package with a gas range.
Breathe Design Studio
Our Austin studio designed this gorgeous town home to reflect a quiet, tranquil aesthetic. We chose a neutral palette to create a seamless flow between spaces and added stylish furnishings, thoughtful decor, and striking artwork to create a cohesive home. We added a beautiful blue area rug in the living area that nicely complements the blue elements in the artwork. We ensured that our clients had enough shelving space to showcase their knickknacks, curios, books, and personal collections. In the kitchen, wooden cabinetry, a beautiful cascading island, and well-planned appliances make it a warm, functional space. We made sure that the spaces blended in with each other to create a harmonious home.

Clean lines, Modern designed kitchen. Ultimate storage used within the space. Finger-pulls cupboards and push to open draws and doors were used for the design. The space of the island bench with the floating breakfast bar is the feature of the space. Oyster colours used resembled the beach theme to the beach house, bringing the beach sand back into the interior.

You’ll always be on holidays here!
Designed for a couple nearing retirement and completed in 2019 by Quine Building, this modern beach house truly embraces holiday living.
Capturing views of the escarpment and the ocean, this home seizes the essence of summer living.
In a highly exposed street, maintaining privacy while inviting the unmistakable vistas into each space was achieved through carefully placed windows and outdoor living areas.
By positioning living areas upstairs, the views are introduced into each space and remain uninterrupted and undisturbed.
The separation of living spaces to bedrooms flows seamlessly with the slope of the site creating a retreat for family members.
An epitome of seaside living, the attention to detail exhibited by the build is second only to the serenity of it’s location.
