A newly connected hallway leading to the master suite had the added benefit of a new laundry closet squeezed in; the original home had a cramped closet in the kitchen downstairs. The space was made efficient with a countertop for folding, a hanging drying rack and cabinet for storage. All is concealed by a traditional barn door, and lit by a new expansive window opposite.
Talianko Design Group, LLCWithin the master bedroom was a small entry hallway and extra closet. A perfect spot to carve out a small laundry room. Full sized stacked washer and dryer fit perfectly with left over space for adjustable shelves to hold supplies. Crystal Kitchen + BathOriginal to the home was a beautiful stained glass window. The homeowner’s wanted to reuse it and since the laundry room had no exterior window, it was perfect. Natural light from the skylight above the back stairway filters through it and illuminates the laundry room. What was an otherwise mundane space now showcases a beautiful art piece. The room also features one of Cambria’s newest counter top colors, Parys. The rich blue and gray tones are seen again in the blue wall paint and the stainless steel sink and faucet finish. Twin Cities Closet Company provided for this small space making the most of every square inch.

Che Bella Interiors Design + RemodelingThis small garage entry functions as the mudroom as well as the laundry room. The space once featured the swing of the garage entry door, as well as the swing of the door that connects it to the foyer hall. We replaced the hallway entry door with a barn door, allowing us to have easier access to cabinets. We also incorporated a stackable washer & dryer to open up counter space and more cabinet storage. We created a mudroom on the opposite side of the laundry area with a small bench, coat hooks and a mix of adjustable shelving and closed storage.

Saltwater Kitchen & Bath StudioOne word - awkward. This room has 2 angled walls and needed to hold a freezer, washer & dryer plus storage and dog space/crate. We stacked the washer & dryer and used open shelving with baskets to help the space feel less crowded. The glass entry door with the decal adds a touch of fun!
