TKP ArchitectsThis award-winning and intimate cottage was rebuilt on the site of a deteriorating outbuilding. Doubling as a custom jewelry studio and guest retreat, the cottage’s timeless design was inspired by old National Parks rough-stone shelters that the owners had fallen in love with. A single living space boasts custom built-ins for jewelry work, a Murphy bed for overnight guests, and a stone fireplace for warmth and relaxation. A cozy loft nestles behind rustic timber trusses above. Expansive sliding glass doors open to an outdoor living terrace overlooking a serene wooded meadow.

Corner Den with cahedral ceiling, oversize windows and 50" pre-fab fireplace, white stained concrete floors with radian heat.
Janet Brooks DesignTall French doors open to a covered patio off the living room and bring light into the space. The fireplace is hand carved limestone. The scenes on the Trumeau style mirrors are painted by a local artist, Timothy Chapman.

UserA stacked stone fireplace and hearth surround add to the organic elements in this beautiful, vaulted great room. Underneath the amber and copper-toned artwork hangs a mantel, matching the maple stained beams and woodwork that wrap the room’s perimeter. Greyed green chenille covers the sectional, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the fire. Behind the sectional sits a console, made of Brazilian Peroba Rosa reclaimed wood. Topping the console is a Teak root bowl filled with textured, marble balls. Hanging from the high vaulted ceiling is a Visual Comfort chandelier in bronze. The light, neutral ivory of the wall showcases the room’s rich, natural features.
Couture ArchitectureLiving Room: Dramatic lighting create reflections on the glass allowing the columns and beams to march out into the bay views.

Emerick ArchitectsThis is an original historic mirror which was re-framed and integrated with the custom designed painted wood surround and mantel of the new gas fireplace. Carrara marble frames the metal fireplace and serves as the hearth.

The custom-built stair case features white lacquered wood, wenge steps and glass railings (designed by RS3). Fabricated by Arlican Wood + MDV Glass. Modern dropped ceiling features contempoary recessed lighting and hidden LED strips. The silver metallic, wave-like wallpaper is from ROMO.
