Melinda Mandell Interior DesignThe Living Room also received new white-oak hardwood flooring. We re-finished the existing built-in cabinets in a darker, richer stain to ground the space. The sofas from Italy are upholstered in leather and a linen-cotton blend, the coffee table from LA is topped with a unique green marble slab, and for the corner table, we designed a custom-made walnut waterfall table with a local craftsman.
CAS ArchitectureThe dark green walls contrast with the light furniture. The area rug brings together the living room space in the living/dining room.
Jenni Leasia Interior DesignThe Living Room furnishings include custom window treatments, Lee Industries arm chairs and sofa, an antique Persian carpet, and a custom leather ottoman. The paint color is Sherwin Williams Antique White.

DecorbuddiWe chose a beautiful inky blue for this London Living room to feel fresh in the daytime when the sun streams in and cozy in the evening when it would otherwise feel quite cold. The colour also complements the original fireplace tiles.
We took the colour across the walls and woodwork, including the alcoves, and skirting boards, to create a perfect seamless finish. Balanced by the white floor, shutters and lampshade there is just enough light to keep it uplifting and atmospheric.
The final additions were a complementary green velvet sofa, luxurious touches of gold and brass and a glass table and mirror to make the room sparkle by bouncing the light from the metallic finishes across the glass and onto the mirror
Studio FabbriThe cosy and grown-up formal lounge is connected to the open-plan family space by a large pocket door.

Nistenhaus Design LLCTo accompany the exposed brick, an industrial feel was achieved with elements like the iron/wood furniture & bar top, original iron fireplace covering, and open metal shelving. The dark gray mantel treatment and navy leather wing-back chair add a richness while the lighter contemporary rug and curtains brighten up to the space.
Hsu McCulloughBuilt-ins and open shelves of books divide the Living Room from Reading Room entrance beyond. A dramatic ceiling of layered beams is revealed.
