Interior MotifsA warm and welcoming dining area in an open plan kitchen. Sage green walls, with a herring wallpaper, complementing the colours already present in the kitchen. From a bland white space to a warm and welcoming space.
Architexture Interior DesignWe started the design with the wallpaper. It met the owner's requirement to be bold, colorful and include a little whimsy. The stripe on the chairs is a way to balance the enormous amount of detail in the wallpaper because without it, your eye would be drawn only to the wallpaper. The chairs, tables, and accessories are all custom made by Architexture.

Normandy RemodelingThis dining area is a great example of mixed finishes. The open display shelving ties the room together with each unique piece and truly makes for a personal, stand-alone space.

Jane EllisonA custom-cut piece of glass tops a Saarinen tulip table base framed by a curvaceous silk-velvet settee and a wood bench stands in place of a conventional dining set in the dining area. “I didn’t want the clutter of a lot of chairs” Jane says. “It would have interfered with the calm of the room.”
Timber bamboo, lustrous overscale Vietnamese pottery, a trio of sparkling Thai mirrors, and nearly a dozen candles interspersed with smooth dark stones enhance the dining area’s grown-up appeal.
Angela Todd Studios | Portland, ORBased on other life priorities, not all of our work with clients happens at once. When we first met, we pulled up their carpet and installed hardy laminate flooring, along with new baseboards, interior doors and painting. A year later we cosmetically remodeled the kitchen installing new countertops, painting the cabinets and installing new fittings, hardware and a backsplash. Then a few years later the big game changer for the interior came when we updated their furnishings in the living room and family room, and remodeled their living room fireplace.

Julia Chasman DesignThe mid-century slanted ceiling of the open dining room creates a cozy but spacious area for a custom 9' dining table made of reclaimed oak, surrounded by 8 matching vintage Windsor chairs painted in Farrow & Ball's Green Smoke. Vintage mid-century wicker pendant is echoed by Moroccan straw accents with the plant stand, and wall fan. A large French colorful agricultural map adds charm and an unexpected twist to the decor.

Atmosphère d'AilleursAu centre, une table entièrement réalisée sur mesure à partir d'un plateau en orme ancien et d'un piètement en acier. Grâce à un traitement imperméabilisant incolore et mat elle se prête sans problème à un usage quotidien.
Deux bancs, également réalisés sur mesure avec un plateau en bois ancien, complètent l'ensemble, et côtoient
des bancs anciens en orme brut.
Autour, une console et un buffet en orme ancien.
