INSPIRED KITCHEN DESIGN
One of the other design desires was to give the space a sleek, modern look by picking the right cabinet door styles from IKEA. “I definitely wanted this kitchen to have timeless style, be highly functional and require very little maintenance,” Todd says.
He ended up selecting brown VOXTORP and white RINGHULT cabinet fronts, and light gray BROKHULT drawer fronts to complement the walnut-style SEKTION cabinets.
“The VOXTORP was a brand-new front that had come out after working with IKD. There were no good examples of completed kitchens to look at since it was so new, but they turned out way better than I expected!” he says.
The cabinets are complemented by stainless steel GREVSTA toe kicks and light-colored quartz countertops, which were supplied from a vendor through the contractor.

An apron front sink, handmade tile, quartzite countertops and creamy white cabinetry create a farm-fresh feel in this 1894 home.

For this long yet narrow room, we needed to take a different approach – one that shunned space for sensibility and style.
We opted for an oceanic palette, with Fired Earth’s ‘Pearl Ashes’ hand-painted on double-panel tulip wood units to give an almost pearlescent radiance and Quartz worktops throughout for a clean, reflective finish with a wonderfully tactile texture. The limited width of the room made installing a conventional island tricky, but by mapping the available area, we were able to create this stunning peninsula allowing movement on three sides, whilst deftly adding minimalist seating. This delicate and dainty kitchen serves up plenty of style.

This bright and open kitchen has the perfect amount of farmhouse elements and is chic at the same time.

This stunning Art Deco Kitchen was a labor of love and vision for our creative homeowners who were ready to update their kitchen of 30+ years. By removing the peninsula island and creating space for a seated banquette, we were able to custom design and a curved mahogany island and curved bench to offset the straight dramatic dark lines of the main kitchen. With gold metallic tile and the new Litze Faucet in split finish of gold and black, we think drama in the kitchen looks fabulous indeed!

There is abundant storage in this kitchen. It offers a wall of decorative cabinetry and two islands. The wall of cabinets include a door into a large walk-in pantry located behind the cabinetry’s façade, which is a fun surprise for visitors. Antique, mirrored glass-door cabinets flank the kitchen hood and a pop-up television raises from front island’s quartzite countertop when the cook or guests want to engage. In this photo, the vase and bowl are covering the tv's quartzite cover.
