Houzz, the World's Leading Home Renovation Platform, Arrives in Denmark

Houzz Inc., the leading platform for home renovation and design, today launched a dedicated Danish site, houzz.dk, and apps for Danish iOS and Android users – specifically tailored for the Danish market and needs. Strong local demand for Houzz, and interest in Danish design from Houzz users around the world, prompted the company’s expansion into Denmark.

More than 35 million monthly unique users rely on Houzz to find design inspiration, get advice from the largest home community on the web, source products, research and hire home professionals, and manage home projects from start to finish. Over 800,000 active home professionals in more than 60 categories such as architects, interior designers, product designers, landscape designers and more, use Houzz to showcase their work, build their brands and reach new clients, both locally and internationally.

Houzz is free and easy to use, removing the barriers between those looking to design their home and the professionals who can help them do so with technology.

By using houzz.dk, Danish homeowners and design lovers can:

  • Browse interior, exterior and garden photos from Denmark and around the world to find design inspiration. With more than seven million photos, Houzz has the world’s largest database of professionally-designed home photos, home tours and more
  • Find, hire and collaborate with the best Danish architects, designers and more who can transform their dream homes into reality
  • Read guides and advice from Danish home renovation and design professionals about decor, residential design planning, gardening and more

For Danish trade professionals, Houzz provides the ability to build brand awareness, connect with homeowners, and leverage Houzz technology to collaborate with their clients at all stages of a project.

Adi Tatarko, Houzz cofounder and CEO said: “Our mission from day one has been to deliver the best technology and experience for home renovation and design by addressing every aspect of the process. As we expand internationally, Danish design has a major role in the global design language that Houzz is facilitating. The entire community at Houzz is excited to learn more about Danish designs from the modern apartments in the newly-built parts of the Copenhagen harbor, to the elegant villas in Northern Zealand, to the cozy summer homes on the West Coast of Jutland. We’re thrilled to provide Danish users and professionals with dedicated local content and the technology to make the remodeling and design process more fun and productive. We also look forward to connecting Danish professionals and homeowners with our community around the world.”

Houzz has established a dedicated team led by the Managing Director Marcus Hartwall to help both professionals and homeowners get the most from the new Danish platform.
