I hired Accent Design Build for an addition (kitchen, master bedroom, and master bath) to my 1948 home in West Highland. I loved that Brevan and his team always "got me" and kept the new addition blended with the older home which was so important to me. I had complete trust that the work would be done in a timely and quality manner because Brevan always clearly communicated the process, next steps, and any decision points. From the initial rough estimate through completion, the project stayed on budget and schedule. Brevan and his team were wonderful to work with and always professional. Should I need any work done in the future I will call Accent Design Build without hesitation and without obtaining any additional estimates!

The best thing I can say about design accent build was their professionalism. Brevan is also a very thorough contractor and has great ideas that were very functional for our space. He is a pleasure to work with, and was conscious of all of our needs. Every aspect of our remodel was thought through with our budget and intentions in mind. There were some delays, but these are almost always to be expected in some degree. Overall, I would highly recommend this company for your remodeling.

We used Accent Design and Build to build out our unfinished basement and to close off a loft room on the second floor to make it into a bedroom. They did an excellent job, where no detail was overlooked, and they stayed on schedule so the work was done before we moved in. Brevan, Greg and all of the contractors are kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We are now using them again to update our kitchen and fireplace space and are confident they will do another great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Brevan Adams from Accent Design Build was prompt for our initial meeting. He came with blueprints from another home he was working on which were very close to what we wanted to have done. He invited us to see that house and we were impressed with the workmanship. We hired him on the spot. Mr. Adams came to our second meeting with preliminary prints for our approval along with meeting each member of the team that would be working on our project. It gave us a chance to meet them, ask questions and for them to see our home before the actual construction phase began. We were on a tight completion time schedule, and the construction was to be done in the winter months. It was amazing how quickly it all came together; the removal of the top of our garage; the material being delivered on schedule, and the inspections were all promptly done. Even though we added some extra work to the project they managed to keep the original scheduled completion date. All of this was done because of Brevan's construction knowledge, project management skills & precise scheduling expertise. The initial project came in just under budget. We were never asked to pay any monies up front. We received invoices for payment on work as it was completed. We would not hesitate in recommending Accent Design Build and Brevan Adams to anyone. We received so many complements on the addition to our home. We can't thank everyone involved enough for their hard work and dedication.

We contracted Brevan to remodel our 1970's kitchen, laundry room, and powder room including a total gut of the space, slight kitchen footprint enlargement, and re-design of the kitchen layout. We choose Brevan because of his professional and respectful conduct, direct answers, clear communication, fully insured and licensed status, longterm relationship with his subcontractors and extensive design and build experience. His contract was detailed with a clearly defined payment schedule based on project completion milestones. Permits were obtained for all work done, i.e., dry wall , structural change, electrical, plumbing, HVAC. We passed all inspections without a problem. Brevan's team of insured subcontractors were professional, on time, and clearly experienced. Brevan was regularly onsite to inspect work progress and ensure quality outcomes. He was readily available by phone to answer our questions throughout the project. He provided critical design and build suggestions which resulted in an end product exceeding our expectations. We plan to contract Brevan for the next phase of our home remodeling project. We highly recommend Accent Design and Build, Brevan Adams, General Contractor.

Ken Harman

We had a house built by Shea Homes a couple of years ago and after closing had Accent Design Build fix everything that Shea didn't do right. We had Brevan and his team design a basement plan that was far more functional than Shea's standard plan. His knowledge of construction, design, and products helped us create a space that fit's our lifestyle perfectly. We've built and remodeled several houses but Brevan's expertise made this one the easiest yet. If we do another new build or remodel Brevan will be our contractor, I can't say enough about how through and detail oriented he is. Thanks Brevan Ken & Jeanne

We used Accent Design Build on multiple renovations to a 20 year old house, it turned out modern and beautiful. Brevan was a professional and honest man to work with. He was great to communicate the timeline and budget not only in the beginning, but through out the project. He was helpful to address design issues and add design ideas. If there was a problem, he immediately got right on it and worked through it until we were completely happy with the results which is such a difference in this age of just get it done regardless of appearance or quality. We would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again.

We completely remodeled our kitchen, two full bathrooms, new flooring in the whole house, painted everything, plus removing of walls- it was a near total gut job. From the very beginning, Brevan communicated with us exactly what was going on and what to expect. Additionally, Brevan and his crew consistently did things the right way (this seems like an obvious, but even in interviewing contractors, it became clear that not everyone does things to code or the way they should be). There wasn't one time that we felt that Brevan or his sub-contractors took a short cut and skimped on quality. The questions he asked and ideas he brought to the table proved that, not to mention our beautiful finished home. We still need to finish our basement and we will schedule our remodel around when he is available because we won't go anywhere else now.

We have had Accent Design Build do 2 different remodels for us. First they did our basement and then just recently redesigned and remodeled our kitchen. In both cases the work was of extremely high quality and workmanship. Remodels were done on time and workmen were always high quality. We would highly recommend them.

Grover Wrenn

I chose Accent Design Build for a total renovation of a 3500 square foot home in Ken Caryl Valley. We gutted the original home to the studs and completely re-built it including lowering the basement floor by three feet to create nine foot clear ceilings on that level. Brevan Adams, owner of Accent Design Build, managed the 10-month project and worked closely with our designer and architect to create a stunning result.
