I have photographed a number of Andrew's projects and have been impressed with the powerful yet tastefully understated design elements he incorporates. The South Yarra Void House in particular shows his careful consideration of clients needs and lifestyle, along with the ability to create a space that is simultaneously open, light-filled and cozy. Working with Andrew was easy, professional, efficient and comfortable. His projects are a pleasure to photograph.

Stage Constructions

Andrew was a pleasure to work with from the start of the project right up until completion. His working drawings were easily understood, as well as offering the client some very clever solutions. He was always happy to consult with me in order to achieve the most appropriate and cost effective outcome. The end result was a resounding success. From a builders perspective, I would be very happy to work with Andrew again.

Andrew designed and project managed the fitout of my new CBD office. He clearly communicated throughout the process and dealing with him was very easy . Through the use of a clever layout he managed to make a small and awkward space feel spacious and relaxed. His attention to detail was meticulous and the quality and warmth of the finished work was exactly what I needed for myself, colleagues and clients. He also designed furniture and a work space that is unique, good looking and practical. Everyone who walks into my office remarks on how well designed and attractive it is and I could not be happier. It makes being at work so much more pleasurable.

Andrew Child designed and oversaw the construction of a large extension and renovation of an old house. He converted a rather tired- looking Californian bungalow into an exciting, spacious, contemporary home. Andrew is very professional, easy to work with, and got on well with all the people involved in the project.He is practical and creative. The house is a pleasure to lve in.

Andrew Child designed and supervised the builder during construction of our new home. We had never used an architect before but were reassured with Andrew's sound advice and guidance throughout the whole process. We were impressed with Andrew's creative ideas and cleverly integrated them into the design of our lovely new home. The building of our house also went smoothly. It was obvious that Andrew had a good relationship with the builder and tradesmen on site. Any issues that arose were quickly resolved. We now live in a way we could never have imagined when we think back to the empty block of land we had in the beginning. Our house is full of calm, sunny spaces that integrate well with the outside. Living here is a delight.
