Define is a boutique Landscape Architectural practice specialising in residential & commercial projects, consulting to private clients and the development industry. We focus on translating our great concepts into delivering spectacular results on the ground - where it really counts! Based in Brisbane’s inner north, Define’s founder Andrew Munro utilises 20 years of project experience across Australia to provide the full suite of traditional landscape architectural services. His genuine personal interest in each project produces high quality outcomes in partnership with a trusted network of consultants, contractors and suppliers. Maintaining strong links with the nursery, construction & development industries, as well as local authorities and allied professionals, Andrew cleverly collaborates with these design partners to create spaces and relationships that last.

Andrew Munro helped us completely renovate our backyard to include a deck, staircase, built in seating, fire pit and landscaped gardens. He spent a lot of time with us in the planning stages and was understanding when we went through several design ideas before settling on the final concept. He listened to what we wanted to use the space for and went to great lengths to choose plants based on photos of what we liked which we sent to him regularly. He recommended a builder/ landscaping team for the groundworks and did most of the planting himself. The plant selection and design were amazing. For his efforts, he won second place in a design award entry he made. You could tell every step of the way that he was professional and proud of his work. Nearly 2 years on, we couldn’t be happier with our outdoor space. Thanks Andrew.

Andrew listened to us and designed new front and back yards with us. Not an easy brief but he took it on and worked wonders. Andrew is a master at his craft. He designed a ‘cottage garden’ for us in Brisbane, Queensland, where it’s too hot and humid for a cottage garden. It’s beautiful! Andrew found us a very competent and thoughtful landscaper in Peter. Together they created our new yards. Clever designing and very careful build and planting. We are extremely happy with the design and work.

Thank you Andrew for our newly refurbished front garden bed. Our dwarf pink crepe myrtles are already in bloom and we look forward to the Michaelias and star jasmine to follow. We found your work to be highly professional, efficient and friendly along with the support of Will and his amazing work ethic in establishing the new garden.

We have known Andrew from Define Landscape Architecture for a number of years working along with him on various residential and commercial projects. Andrew has an absolute passion for art in nature and as a result he has banked up a huge amount of knowledge and expertise. We have found him to always be professional in all aspects of his work and he has always been particular with the quality of the workmanship and selection of plants, keeping in mind as to how they will grow as well as the maintenance that will be required. We would highly recommend Define Landscape Architecture for any type or size project.

I first met Andrew when we embarked on a pool design and build. The concepts and thorough documentation he provided were excellent and assisted us in moving to the next stage of our project. He is also very personable and good to work with.
