Om os

Clients include those developing projects for residential design, to historic preservation and restoration. We are committed to being extremely sensitive to the neighborhoods where our projects are located through responsible and thoughtful design. McCloud & Associates Architecture has its studio office in Sterling, Illinois and a satellite office in Downers Grove, IL We have clients throughout the Sauk Valley, Northwest Illinois and the Chicagoland area and have designed custom residential homes in Sterling, Dixon, Downers Grove, Western Springs, Aurora, Hinsdale, and Oak Park. We believe in a team approach to the design process through true collaboration between the owner, architect and builder. Starting with each client’s vision, McCloud & Associates translates those ideas into architectural concepts and then into detailed drawings for building projects as individual as each of our clients.

Skip McCloud designed an updated look for our home’s exterior. He helped us choose colors, products and styles. He was knowledgeable and responsive. The house looks great now.

Kommenteret: Want to do something very similar; can you give me an idea of cost?The client replaced all the windows and siding on the house. I would estimate that at the time at $55,000, and another $50,000 for constructing the porch...........................aomc3

Kommenteret: What is the width of the house?At it's widest point, the house is 43'-3" wide. It sits on a 70'-0" wide lot......................aomc3

Kommenteret: What color paint did you use? Love the darker color with the brick!I'm afraid that project was quite some time ago and I do not recall the color the contractor used. I believe I approved from a selection of colors on site. Sorry I can't be more help...................
