Our Modules are transported by truck to site where they are installed and fitted onto board piers a non evasive footing system. Designed, built and delivered in 18 - 28 weeks.

A fantastic build for our modular home! Archiblox got the concept and came up with an original design that allows maximum flexibility in our multigenerational home. The property was delivered on site on schedule and we moved in on the day. The only home in our subdivision where that happened out of 30 homes. There were a couple of teething issues as one expects, but overall absolutely better than any of our neighbours have experienced with their builds. Its an environmentally responsible home that meets our needs 100%. We still love our home to bits.

Archiblox constructed a new build, double storey house for us in Melbourne. It was avery disappointing experience. Timelines were way longer than advertised, and communication has been terrible. Changes to the standard specs are charged around double normal costs. We're still unable to get some significant defects resolved more than 6 months after moving in. Not recommended.

Their project team were professional kept us informed every steo of the way, and we are so happy with the end result. Looking for an efficient alternative to a conventional build, we researched a number of modular home/prefab companies to complete a substantial extension to our Edwardian home in Richmond. Our brief was demolition of all but the front two rooms, retaining the heritage facade, and a new build to include kitchen, living, laundry, powder room, en-suite on the lower level, plus two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. It was important to us that our new home was energy efficient, with sustainable building materials considered in its construction. The design also needed to overcome some challenging planning constraints that come with compact inner city properties. The Archiblox team guided the project through planning approval and were very flexible as we customised interior elements and adjusted the original brief. The off site prefabrication went smoothly and the team provided us regular feedback on how the build was going and welcomed inspections along the way. Install on site was completed on program and our young family ended up spending only 2 months out of home from the day the back of the house was demolished (not 12 months + that it would have been with a regular build). Archiblox have been great with post completion service and the few minor defects were attended to promptly.

It has been a few years since we moved into 'Collingwood home' and we could not be happier, we love it more everyday. So light and so roomy - the Archiblox team nailed the brief. We were out of our home just under 3 months, from demolition to moving into a brand new, completely finished home - amazing! Couldn't recommend them more.

In 2014 we engaged Archiblox to design and build an extension to our period home. Our aims of the brief were to create an extension which sat well with the period home while not trying to make it look 'period'. We wanted a bright, light modern extension. We chose Archiblox because we fell in love with their design and aesthetic. We love the use of timber and simplicity of design. We were also drawn to the Archiblox business model of design and construction sitting with the one company and the fact that the majority of the build time occurs offsite. Our site has limited side access, so the idea of the building being craned into place appealed to us from a practicality perspective too (noting that there is a cost for crane and haulage). While the project had a few ups and downs (what major building works don't?!?), the day the extension was craned into place was such an exciting day as we could see our new home coming to life. Overall, we absolutely love our renovated home. It captures a lot of natural light (thanks in part to Bill's clever use of windows). Kevin's cabinetry and use of timber is very high quality and still looks fantastic a few years on. The deck with cascading stairs into the garden works really well for a young family. Archiblox achieved for us a lovely family home which blends new and old very well. The high ceilings of our period home are carried through to the extension with lovely results - a bright, spacious living, dining and kitchen space (with my fabulous walk in pantry). https://www.archiblox.com.au/project/hawthorn-extension/

I needed a modern home with room for a growing family, but something sympathetic to the native environment in which I lived. We approached Archiblox to build our family beach house in Inverloch. We wanted a relaxed house that would suit all our needs. It had to be environmentally passive and sensitive to the block and surrounding area. We were impressed by Archiblox's ethos and environmental credentials. The whole process from design, build to hand over was enjoyable. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly and we could not be happier with our beach house. We would highly recommend Archiblox to anyone looking to build an environmentally sensitive house.

Don’t trust Archiblox. We lost time and money for no result. Don’t trust the glossy website stating that your requirements are their main concern and their ‘yes we can' answer to all questions you may have. Our request to Archiblox was for a modular build. We highlighted to them that access to the site was problematic due to our narrow South Melbourne street. We informed them that 2 other modular companies had already concluded that modular was not possible and offered flatpack instead, which we did not want. We requested they view our site before any further steps were taken (as the 2 previous companies had done). Archiblox instead reassured us that it was feasible if a crane of sufficient reach and height was used. On that basis, we paid over $3000 for the initial visit by the architect and a subsequent meeting with Archiblox to consider the design options. At that meeting, the sales person with whom we had been communicating was “held up” (alarm bells) and the architect was left to deliver the bad news: that modular was not possible. We asked for a refund of the fees we paid in good faith that the company could deliver on our fundamental request for a modular build. Archiblox refused our request, instead offering a flat pack option (which we had stated upfront that we did not want) and argued that anything Archiblox states can be revised and changed along the way. This is possibly what they call ‘”managing the customer’s expectations”, but looks to us more like “squeeze what you can out of people then take the money and run”.

Other than the normal hiccups associated with a renovation I couldn't fault this business. We needed more room for our growing family but didn't want to leave our current home. We added 2 modules to our Victorian semi detached home and couldn't be happier. We have ticked the environmental boxes as this company has an exceptional rating for this. The work was done quickly compared to a traditional renovation too. The job went over budget by 10% which from what I hear is about normal! Even though it was a quick job there were a couple of deadlines that were missed but eventually, we were very pleased with the final result. We were out of our home for just over 3 months.
