Barclay+Phillips is a well established practice with over 30 years experience. We are located just outside of Salisbury in the village of Whaddon and are passionate about design and combining beauty with practicality. Our friendly team have a wealth of experience and are able to tackle any project. We are at home designing new-build projects but also enjoy working with existing buildings. Each bring their own challenges and older buildings can teach important lessons and offer great opportunities for dramatic spaces or the unexpected! Where possible, we are keen to develop low energy solutions for our projects and, when appropriate, we prefer to use environmentally friendly materials. We can offer advice and guidance through all stages of the project, working with you to produce a unique project.

Awesome architectural firm in Salisbury. Very attentive, very experienced and knowledgeable team of experts. We have used Barclay & Phillips for 2 new builds as well as an extensive refurb of our old house and all work was Superb. Thanks Nick and Caroline and team!

We are very happy with Barclay+Phillips who designed and got planning on our new build property on quite a tricky site. The property stands out in the road especially when compared with the previous bungalow on the site! We would have no hesitation in recommending.

Barclay+Phillips were the architects who redesigned and project managed the almost total rebuild of our property close to the Thames. The property is inrecognisable when compared with the previous building. Our replacement home is a contemporary ‘land mark’ property that has had considerable interest in the area. We are delighted with the final product and the process that Barclay+Phillips took us through to achieve it. Photos available on request.

We have constructed a number of projects with Barclay and Phillips. New Build, Refurbishment and Extension projects. We would highly recommend this Architect. They listen to the Client, which is not standard procedure for all architects, and are proactive with the builder. All of our Projects with them have gone well, finished on time and on budget.
