When we moved to our 200yr old cottage my wife had an idea of the garden she wanted. Luckily for us we found Louise who listened & then turned those aspirations into an amazing design. Louise’s creative flair & professional expertise carefully crafted an idea into a stunning garden. It is now a beautiful spot relax in with her inspired plant selection providing a haven for wildlife & highlights across each season. We are both so grateful to Louise for her constant advice, attention to detail & obvious joy in making all this happen. Thank you so much.

Louise has done such an amazing job designing our garden. The garden itself was such an odd shape before, resulting in us only using one small part of it since we moved into our house several years ago. We then instructed Louise to design a more user friendly garden for us and she came up with such creative yet practical designs with a layout that we just never would have thought of ourselves. Louise then introduced us to equally professional landscapers to do the work itself, but remained involved throughout the process so as to ensure her designs were followed to the letter. The whole experience has taught us that it was 100% worth the extra cost of instructing a garden designer as we certainly wouldn’t have the garden we have today if it wasn’t for Louise’s creativity and determination to get the most out of the space from the start. Thank you Louise!

Working with Louise on our total garden renovation has been a dream! We asked Louise to revise a rear garden design, design a Scandinavian inspired planting plan for it and subsequently asked her redesign our awkward front garden too. Louise proved to be an impeccable professional with a creative eye; punctual, presenting CAD plans with a strong knowledge base and explaining clearly the project process and costs. Revisions were made without issue and Louise worked flexibly with others to bring the garden to completion whilst keeping us informed. We would have no hesitation in hiring Louise again in the future or recommending her to others.

Louise @bluetulip took our tired, boring and disheveled excuse of a garden and turned it in to a garden to be envied! Louise took a lot of initial time and effort to listen to what we wanted and did not want, and came back with a project that excited us from the start. Louise was not afraid to challenge to ensure we achieved the end result but her knowledge and experience helped to create a truly stunning garden. Louise ensured both the hard landscaping and the planting created a natural flow from our converted barn to the adjoining woodland.She has a flexible approach to ensure she was able to work within both our timetable and budget and is completely transparent about costings from the start. Louise has a charming and approachable manner and has always been on hand to advise and guide us as the garden takes true shape. We don't think there are many plants that Louise does not know and she has sourced some elegant and colourful varieties on our behalf. We cannot recommend Louise enough if you want your garden to be an area of beauty and relaxation.

I highly recommend Blue Tulip Garden Design. From start to finish Louise’s service was exceptional. We had been planning to have our garden restructured for a while and finding Louise’s website was a great place to start. We had some rough ideas about utilising the space in our garden better - we wanted it to look great but also remain practical with a decent sized play area for our kids. Louise listened carefully, established our budget, added her own suggestions and turned it all into a fantastic design which we were really happy with. She takes away all the hassle by then sourcing the landscaping team to implement that design and manages the project until completion. We are delighted with the end result.

Louise was professional and friendly, listening to our likes and dislikes and giving us books and websites to look through to have an idea of what styles we liked. She put together a beautiful design that we instantly loved! Our garden took 7 weeks and Louise was always there to answer our questions and popped over to ensure the garden was being built to her design. Loved seeing it come together and now excited for Spring to arrive to see the garden come to life with all the flowers.

Wanting a re-think of our back garden we contacted Louise , from the very first meeting we felt she understood exactly what we wanted from a garden.At every stage of the design we were consulted and involved , the team building the garden were fantastic nothing was ever too much trouble for Louise and the build team .We now have a wonderful garden that more than fulfills what we had planned !
