Canadiana Cabinets was founded in 1990 by Bill Barker, and we began producing a versatile lineup of standard and custom cabinets. Bill is known for his sharp and intuitive knowledge of woodworking, drawing from over 40 years of experience, as well as his enthusiasm for, and detail-oriented approach to, cabinetry construction. Our high-quality cabinets are a result of merging traditional and hi-tech construction methods. They are also a product of our reliable team. In 2011, we had the opportunity to relocate manufacturing back to our hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada in the old Stickling’s Bakery factory. All of our cabinet machining, finishing, and assembly are completed in our 13,000 sq.ft. facility. Our cabinets are custom built-to-order, and constructed on an efficient production line with the latest in industry technologies. Our mandate at Canadiana Cabinets is to be as versatile and creative as possible; while maintaining our high-standards for quality and functionality. We offer a complete design service, and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer support. You can choose from several styles of construction, from the clean lines of European Style cabinets to the fine-details of handcrafted Beaded-Inset Face Frame cabinets. We also provide custom millwork for your unique projects. Timely delivery of our products is very important to us. Our goal is to provide you with product and services at a fair price. Our team is eager to make you happy. We want to be your personal cabinet makers! We have clients both abroad and in our local region. Locally, we offer installation services in Peterborough, Durham, the Kawarthas, Muskoka, Toronto, and other surrounding areas. Canadiana cabinets exceeded my expectations from start to finish with our kitchen reno. Sue worked with our small kitchen space to create a more functional and beautiful design. Install was on time, and meticulously placed to perfection. I am still in awe that such a beautiful space is in my home.

Top notch Canadian company! Sue was an absolute pleasure to work with and was very patient with all of our requests and changes - she's a creative saint! Our kitchen, designed and built by Canadiana is still a highlight of our cottage, 4 years later. High quality finishes and superb installation. I would highly recommend this company as I have worked with them twice, once for my inside kitchen, and most recently, to build our outdoor kitchen. Both times, Sue the designer was so wonderful to work with as she provided excellent advice and worked magic with timelines for us. Mark, the installer was meticulous and the resulting work is something that we are very proud of. Thanks so much for everything!

When we started the process of renovating our kitchen, we were really concerned that we would not be able to have the kitchen we wanted within our budget because ours is a very oddly sized and shaped kitchen. After speaking to several kitchen reno companies in the area, we decided to go with Canadiana because 1. the response to our initial inquiry was the promptest and most informative, 2. Sue Maarse, the designer, made it clear that all types of customers and their needs could be accommodated, and 3. email communication with Sue was timely and efficient, and we landed on rough design within our budget in a short time. Once we had decided to go with Canadiana, Sue continued to work closely with us, always responding to our many emails and questions on time and with patience. Despite being in the midst of a pandemic, our visit to the company factory to select finishes and fittings was painless, and Sue's advice was relevant, clear, and very professional. She patiently helped us weigh all our options, and helped us decide. When the time came to install, all the arrangements went smoothly, and the carpenter whom they sent completed the work on time, and did a good job. In the end, we managed to put in an gorgeous little kitchen which we love, within our budget, and we could not have done it without Canadiana. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for kitchen cabinetry. They are prompt, professional, and deliver high quality to a range of client needs and budgets.

Our project ran very smooth I took the kitchen cupboards out of our house had to some of the walls once I was finished Canadiana cabinets were ready to come into our mobile home. They were here for two days and they did a fantastic job the cupboards are gorgeous and the installation went along really well. Mac and his helper Mark they are fantastic team they work so smoothly together they are a team of workers that you would want in your house they were great. They were also very respectful there was no swearing cursing they were very respectful to one another I was amazed at how well they work together. My wife and I so happy our new kitchen hard to believe it's our kitchen you just pushed the cupboards and they close by themselves the same with their drawers. My wife has MS he needed cupboards and drawers that were assessable I also have an injury and need kitchen that is easy to use and we have that now my wife and I are very pleased and are happy to thank Canadiana cabinets. I used Canadiana Cabinets since their inception. I had a small custom full service cabinet shop; George Ham & Associates (1973) . Over all the years it has been nothing but a positive experience with Canadiana as my exclusive cabinet supplier outside what I made. We contacted Canadian Cabinets based on a very positive review from someone who was in process with their kitchen renovation. From our initial visit to the showroom to the finishing touches on our new kitchen, everything about Canadian Cabinets was awesome! We dealt primarily with Sue and she did an excellent job working with us to produce the final design and manage the contractors who prepared the site and installed the cabinets - many thanks to both Gary and Mark who did an excellent job. The bonus was that everything was done in time for Christmas. After a month in our new kitchen we are very happy!

My wife and I were looking for modern fresh design for our our tired outdated kitchen we were capable of completing the renovations ourselves and approached Sue Maarse at Cananiana Cabinets to come up with a plan. During the winter of 2017, we decided to undertake a major kitchen renovation. After visiting several cabinet makers, and big box stores, the decision to go with Canadiana Cabinets was an easy one. Bill took the time to give us a personalized tour of his production facility, taking us through each step of the manufacturing process, and he was able to answer all of our questions. Designer, Sue Maarse was extremely helpful in assisting with the countless decisions that go into choosing the final product, ie. colors, finishes, hardware, and design ideas/suggestions. Mark, the installer was quite simply a real professional. His attention to detail was outstanding. He was tidy, and meticulous in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Canadiana Cabinets to anyone. Great product, competitive pricing and the final result was first rate. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen. Canadians Cabinets did a magnificent job of renovating my kitchen. Sue Maarse, the designer, took my very basic ideas and created, in my mind, the most efficient, rich looking, super functional kitchen. All members of the team were efficient and very tidy. Timelines given were met right on target. Next Reno? Definitely Canadians Cabinets.

Canadiana Cabinets and designer Sue Maarse designed and dellivered a beautiful kitchen renovation on time and within budget. Sue understands the functional requirements of the kitchen and works closely with you to incorporate all your needs and wants. If you want a custom piece of a certain size Canadiana cabinets can fabricate it at a reasonable price with Sue's design advice.She has great design sense and is able to make suggestions and bring forward ideas while taking an individual's tastes into consideration. Sue was there every step of the way and I had complete confidence in the renovation with her in charge. Canadiana Cabinets has a super team who are consummate professionals. I was in awe of the perfectionism displayed by Mark the installer. Gary and his team did all the rough in and tear out exactly on time and to budget. He worked to figure out the difficult issues around bizarre pre-existing ductwork with minimal disruption and expense. Everyone who set foot in the door was pleasant and easy to work with. This was a moderately priced renovation and compared favourably with another quote I received. However, with Canadiana I got a more custom treatment and, most importantly, Sue and her stellar team! I recommend them unreservedly.....and I love my new kitchen!

Canadiana Cabinets were just amazing and we're so pleased with the outcome. We purchased an older home that had an amazing butler's pantry a weird, crowded kitchen layout. We switched the stove and sinks (stove was in front of windows). Canadiana saved us $$$ by suggesting that we keep the cabinets in the butler's pantry - Bill said they were in great condition - and just put new doors on them instead. I just have to paint the trim and kick plates in the pantry to match. Bill has a great staff - skilled, knowledgeable, helpful and nice guys to talk to. One of them came yesterday to install the kick plates (had to wait for flooring to be finished) and asked if there was anything that needed fixing or attention. Pat was great in helping with the design, didn't try to steer me in a particular direction but found out what I liked and then went from there. The quality of the cabinetry and doors is excellent. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

The whole experience was extremely enjoyable and we now have a one of a kind kitchen that we can call our own. Canadiana Cabinets saved my kitchen - literally! My husband and I had signed a contract with another company to design, build and install our kitchen renovation and two weeks before the project was to begin we were dumped by them because of internal issues on their end. The designer we had been working with asked if she could send our designs to Bill at Canadiana to see if he could help. With absolutely zero expectations, we said yes. Within a few hours of her contacting Bill, we had a phone call from him and an appt set up for the very next day. After checking out their website, we were tentative, but optimistic that this would be a good meeting. Within moments of meeting Bill and his staff, we knew we were in the right place and in good hands! Bill has grown this business from the ground up, and that is clearly evident when he interacts with his customers. There isn't a part of that shop that he isn't familiar with and he makes it a habit to routinely go out on the floor and inspect the work that his team is doing. The level of customer service from Canadiana Cabinetry has been outstanding throughout the entire process. Any time we've contacted Bill with questions or needing specs for other contractors, he's always responded within a few hours if not immediately. His knowledge of the industry is vast and his passion for what he does clearly runs just as deep. I would, without a moments hesitation recommend Canadiana to anyone who wants to work with a company who not only stand behind their product 100% but who truly understand how to build and deliver an outstanding finished product!

They manufactured our kitchen. Their quote was about 30% more than Home Depot, but they assured us the price difference would be reflected in superior quality of product and construction. The initial cabinets provided were sub-standard and about half of them had to be returned to be redone, which delayed our construction. The final product was of excellent quality, however we still had issues with the construction - our two spice cabinets do not close properly unless pushed hard near the top of the cabinet, and one of our drawers had the screws pull out from the slip bar because only 3 screws had been put in to hold it. We contacted the company on these two issues and received no response or service. I fixed the drawer by removing it and rescrewing in the slide bars. So all together an unsatisfactory relationship. Good product (finally) but poor service. The price premium did not seem to be warranted.
