We opened in 1988 and have grown to one of the largest kitchen cabinet suppliers in New England. We specialize in the design/redesign and installation of the best kitchens, baths, bars, libraries, entertainment centers and custom built-in cabinets for all areas of the home. We focus on the design and implementation of kitchens and baths; high quality workmanship, state-of-the-art products. In addition, our Building Division is available to offer our clients to create areas specifically suited to their tastes and needs. We are so glad that we called Cape & Islands Kitchens!! John Hurley in the showroom was professional, attentive, and really knowledgable. He helped us choose exactly what we wanted without any pressure to upsell, he really listened to our requests. John also helped us choose a beautiful countertop through the affiliate Skyline Granite, which looks amazing. The installation was fast and efficient, and customer service was great!! We highly recommend Cape & Islands Kitchens, and will definitely be calling them in the future to remodel our lake house!

My wife and I hired Cape & Island Kitchens to remodel our kitchen. We met with Winn Fernandes, Designer, Sonja LeVangie, Remodeling Specialist and Derek Anderson, Project Manager. All of them so knowledgeable in their respective fields. Our kitchen came out beautiful and we couldn't be happier, especially with the quality of our cabinets. All of the staff at Cape & Island Kitchens are professional, courteous and well-qualified in their various crafts.

Worked with Sonja and Bill on my bathroom remodel. 10 stars!!! Gorgeous, just what I wanted. A friend asked me if my photos were real! LOL! Workmanship, details, communication, patience, and the people were all excellent. Will use them again for when it’s time for kitchen. Thank you so much!

We just finished our kitchen renovation. We had Candlelight cabinets in our previous home and went with them again. The quality and functionality was worth the price to us. Our installer, Scott, was professional, cordial, and prompt. Most importantly he knew what he was doing and we appreciate his attentiveness to all the small details. The end result is beautiful.

The project was a wall-unit to accommodate a new TV and provide additional cabinetry space to our kitchen. John Hurley was responsible for the design. He was very professional with his ideas about the project, very considerate in harmonizing what the client needed with his resources, and, at the end, he was technically precise. The installation process by Scott Hodges was outstanding. We had no clue about how the design would really look until the end. He shepherd us through the whole installation process including, of course, the details. His job was of a superior quality as it looks when you see the job done. John and Scott’s performance was not matched, unfortunately, by how the firm juggled the timing in terms of putting together and moving the project forward. On that note, we find the demand by Cape Kitchens for payment of the full project before its completion unreasonable, let me repeat it, unreasonable. And we must say, not a ‘best practice’ approach to doing business.

My wife and I recently worked with Lisa on our countertop removal and replacement. We were doing other work at our home as well such as painting cabinets and tiling our backsplash. She helped us to come up with the right order for which to do these projects. Due to personal reasons, we requested to reschedule our template and installation dates a few times. She was more than accommodating and extremely patient. We will be starting our bathroom project this fall and will hire Lisa again to help us with that. We highly recommend Lisa and Cape and Island Kitchens.

Our initial interface & design work with Lisa gave us the confidence to go forward with Cape & Island Kitchens as the vendor of choice for our kitchen renovation project. She provided great ideas, support & follow up throughout the project. Lisa was an added value & pleasure to work with from start to finish. Compliments to the installation team, Sonja, Bill, Mike C. & others, who implemented a finished product that met all of our expectations. Mike' s professional craftsmanship & attention to detail gave our kitchen that added touch. Our complete satisfaction with the finished product gives good reason for recommending Lisa & C&IK. The kitchen took a little longer than expected. maybe the miscommunication was on our part. The installer ( Scott) was professional and kept us informed on all areas of the project and asked questions to our needs. I would highly recommend him on any project. The counter installation was done well and on time I definitely would recommend Skyline for counters. project not finished due to hinge issue. Waiting for them to get back with me to rectify this issue. Paul S did a great job on making suggestions on building our new kitchen. As it came together it looks professional and bright. we love our new kitchen and would highly recommend Cape and Island kitchens for anyone looking for an upgrade. Troy & Jen

I really enjoyed working with Chris, Sonja, Tracey, Bill, and Mylia. Even though my kitchen remodel took two months to complete, but some things you just can’t control. You can’t control when cabinets are damaged during shipment. Chris knows construction management and is a valuable asset at CIK. Tracey did a great job designing our kitchen. Sonja did a great job putting together a solid contract for the client. Bill and Mylia did a good job scheduling the work, but they need to provide the client with a realistic project work schedule. Lastly, everyone needs to work on their communication skills and be on the same page. Remember the client is a key component in a project. Thanks.

Currently on week 14 of an estimated 6 week project since breaking ground. The kitchen does looks amazing. It's just not 100% complete. Will likely provide more detailed review once project is 100% complete. -Minus one star for not meeting timeline. -Minus one star (could easily justify subtracting 2 stars) for poor communication. -Minus one star for potential safety concerns.
