Le Guilcher Architecture are based in Penarth, near Cardiff serving South Wales whose focus is on providing quality Architectural design. We are passionate about design and have gained much experience in designing bespoke new homes, extensions, loft conversions, works to listed buildings and remodelling projects. The core of our work is gained through recommendation and since 1985 we are proud to have built up a portfolio of many happy clients which testifies to our belief that good design enhances life. As we are a small firm we are able to work closely with our clients ensuring an individual service. As no two projects are the same, our goal is to offer our clients something that is unique and tailored to their needs. We would love to discuss your potential project with you or you may be simply seeking some good advise.

Christian's contact details were the first to come up when I searched for a Penarth-based architect and he returned my call immediately. We asked for plans for a loft conversion. Christian completed these promptly, in a professional manner, and with no fuss. He listened to what we had in mind and we were very satisfied with his work. What I found most helpful was Christian liaising directly with the local authority to secure planning permission and approval. This took a lot of the stress out of the work for me and I felt reassured that he remained in contact with us while the relevant paperwork was put in place and signed off. We wanted to use a local architect with experience of the style of extension we were looking for. Christian's portfolio is amazing and after reading his reviews had no hesitation to contact him. We knew what we wanted but had been unsure of how to move forward. After a site visit Christian explained our best options and when he provided us the drawings we were not disappointed. Christian was always available to discuss our plans and with only a couple of tweaks we could finally see our dream extension. I would highly recommend Christian, with his experience both in the field and with local authorities. Our planning application was approved and we couldn't thank him enough.

If you’re searching for an architect and want good reliable service then please consider Christian. His attention to detail and his willingness to go that extra mile has left my wife and I very pleased and satisfied. When issues arose, Christian would almost immediately make himself available for support and addressed any concerns promptly without delay. His eye for detail and his thirst for perfection has left us in admiration and awe. Off the back of the exemplary service we received, I can all but guarantee you will receive a pleasant experience with your every need catered for.

Christian was recommended by a local builder who deals with him on a regular basis. From the start we found him approachable and enthusiastic about our project. He listened to our ideas and we asked him to use his imagination to create our dream extension. Within a few days Christian called to show us his ideas which exceeded our expectations. We have been delighted with his professional approach and the speed in which the plans were produced. We would highly recommend him.

Christian was recommend by a friend. He listened to our requirenents and advised us of what would work. He is very professional and very quick to provide drawings, He also helped with paper work for planning permission. He liaised with planning department on our behalf. We would have no trouble recommending Christian.

Christian provided us with an excellent service comprising of an initial survey and discussion of our requirments, Autocad technical drawings were produced and he also provided invaulable assistance with the completion of planning consent documentation and liaison with the planning office. His knowlegde of planning requirements was particularly helpful. Would certainly recommend and have done subsequently.

We've received not just a quality & highly professional service from Christian - but a very swift one also... the project was simple on paper - the addition of some velux windows - but complex as we live in a very old house situated within a conservation area & as a result we had lots of hoops to jump through - but Christians help & guidance was implacable.

Christian came recommended through a friend and after shortlisting several local architects we selected him based on his professionalism, his initial ideas on the house visit and competitive pricing. Drawings were produced to deadline and and he was available throughout the project for guidance. The project was to extend a 60's dormer bungalow including a remodelling of an existing loft conversion. We couldn't be more pleased with the results.

I am delighted to say that we have used LeGuilcher Architecture for two projects and were so impressed were the service we received, that we had no hesitation in using them for a third. We found them to be very efficient, professional and easy to deal with. Our requirements were dealt with in a timely and co-ordinated fashion and we were given expert advice throughout the whole process. In addition to the outstanding service received, we also found them to be extremely competitive. To this end, I would have no hesitation in recommending there services and would certainly use again on any future projects.

Christian was recommended to us by a friend in the industry. We have now used him on two different projects. Our most recent project was to create an extension with an open-plan kitchen living space. Christian's design has exceeded our hopes for the space. It reflects our families needs, wants and lifestyle. We would recommend Le Guilcher Architecture without hesitation.

Kommenteret: 1930’s semi - best open plan layout for kitchen/diner or all open?It would be my recommendation to knock kitchen + dining into one space and remove as many of the internal walls as possible. I would also look into creating more of a glazed area / doors to kitchen si...
