The Chris Upholstery team has done an incredible job helping me with new drapes, creating custom furniture pieces, reupholstering antiques and pillows... Martha is knowledge, resourceful and goes out of her way to make the process seamless and thoughtful. This family operation is one of kind and the work is superior. Chris Upholstery creates beautiful interior furnishings are super professional and fair. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Chris Upholstery is a fabulous place. Outstanding quality and knowledge. They know how furniture is made, how it can be made to last and how to upholster anything. They pick up and drop off to the very spot where the furniture will stay in your home. From the quote to the final product, they are seamless and efficient. My furniture is gorgeously designed and upholstered thanks to them. If I could add more stars I would.

I had an excellent experience with Chris Upholstery! The estimate process was easy (I emailed Martha my measurements and photos) and they were so accommodating with picking up a sofa from my house as well as an antique sofa from my mom's house. The guys who picked up/delivered were super careful and very friendly. Most importantly, they did a fabulous job reupholstering the 2 sofas. They are GORGEOUS! And the price was very reasonable for such high quality work. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

I could not more highly recommend Chris Upholstery! Chris and Martha and their team have done numerous projects over the years. The most recent was to make a duvet cover, which came out absolutely beautifully! Chris has reupholstered numerous pieces of furniture and made draperies. He even made an ottoman for me. Chris and Martha have a great eye to assist in fabric selections and are honestly concerned about satisfying my needs. The workmanship on every project is just amazing. They are wonderful to work with and pricing is reasonable and fair. Plus they are very nice people, down to earth and a pleasure to be with.

I just had a sofa redesigned and reupholstered by Chris. Everything went great! Martha’s customer service is wonderful and I received my sofa within a few weeks, no problems at all! Delivery was great, my sofa looks fabulous, thanks to Martha helping me choose fabric and Chris’s excellent upholstery skills (he switched out switched the arms and cushion styles). Highly recommend Chris Upholstery!

Working with Chris Upholstery was one of the best experiences I've had in a long while -- reminiscent of old-school service. I had to get 2 loveseats and 2 club chairs reupholstered, along with the throw pillows. They did impeccable workmanship on every piece -- the upholstery, the piping, the foam cushions, the pillows -- updating some of the worn-out areas as I wanted. Besides doing beautiful upholstery, they couldn't be more helpful. They helped me choose fabrics to meet my taste but get the durability I needed. Furthermore, their service was exceptional. They were quick and efficient in picking up my furniture, getting the work done, and returning it and placing it as I wanted. From the minute they picked up the merchandise, I felt they were taking care of me.

After 20 years of efficient, reasonable pricing, and beautiful work I am compelled to sit down and share my 5 star review of Chris Upholstery. I have been able to communicate and work with Chris and his daughter in a way indicative of a caring family business. Our home was made lovely with his custom drapery, upholstery of couches and chairs, etc. and featured in the newspaper. Recently, I was in a major rush to move and Martha and Chris turned around my chairs and couch cushions in 3 days. We are so grateful!!!

I've re-done chairs, ottomans, patio furniture cushions, pillows, etc. Martha is so friendly and responsive; she has a terrific eye in helping to select fabrics. The quality of their workmanship is stellar. I love how their showroom is incredibly organized-- very few fabric/upholstery places are -- so it's easy to spread out to review all your options. I highly recommend them!

I have been working with Chris upholstery through a recommendation for 8 years. There is no room in my house that his team hasn'the touched. My bed is stunning, my ottomans, my beside tables, my consoles, my outdoor furniture, chairs, numerous pillows and of course the many window treatments. His team is knowledgeable, competitive with pricing, honest, hardworking and they have a great selection of fabrics (if you need). Every piece they have done for us has added such style to our home. We used Chris Upholstery to hang the curtains for all of our rooms in our new home. Chris & his team did an outstanding job with our curtains. From the first consultation all the way through to the end. Any issues along the way were met with professional and quick resolution. We have gone on to use Chris Upholstery for a number of other projects in our house for our nursery & making pillows as well. They have impressed along the way.

The only reason I hesitate to write this review is because I think they are the best kept secret in Fairfield County. I've had them work on quite a few projects including making and upholstering a bed, a couch , a chair, ottomans and swivel chairs. The quality of the work , detail and product is tremendous. I have loved every piece they have done for me. They are true perfectionist and it shows in the end product. As far as customer service , they are a total pleasure to deal with and have high regard for customers. Timing is so important and they deliver on what they say in terms of when projects will be done. I really can not rave enough about how great these guys are.
