Mint Home Decor

In March of 2023 we moved from Seattle, WA to Las Vegas into a very modern home. I hired Mint Home Decor to help with the decorating. Claire was a jewel with her expert advice and design. She was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. My house flows with beauty and charm, which is exactly what I asked Claire to design in the beginning. It’s now a home I miss when I’m away and love & appreciate when I’m home.

We have worked with Claire at Mint Home Decor for several projects and we cannot recommend her more highly. She has all the qualities that make working with her both a success and a delight. First she really listens to you and what you want — gets a sense of your style, your goals, your budget. Second she has a great eye — great resources and great ideas. And she presents her ideas it very thoughtful, clear presentations. And she’s super organized and very good at communicating where you’re at in the process. Finally, she’s just a pleasure to work with and to be around. Highly, highly recommend!

We worked with Claire at Mint Home Decor this year to design the renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms at our home. Claire was wonderful to work with and spent a great deal of time getting to know us and our style and really worked to synthesize our scattered ideas into beautifully designed rooms. Claire took into account our personalities and lifestyle and worked hard to make sure her designs fit us. She also came up with ideas and found products that. we never would have found on our own. Claire was amazing to work with! She helped with paint colors, lighting, furniture and art for our home. She was able to work remotely with us, which was very convenient. I appreciated how responsive she was to my questions (no matter how big or small) and she was prompt with her work. Overall, I was impressed with the options she provided, and how she was able to incorporate our lifestyle into the design work. I would highly recommend working with Mint Home Décor!

We had a wonderful experience working with Claire to design our living room, dining room and help with our nursery. My husband and I had different ideas about what we wanted our home look like and how it should feel, and she was able to create a home that we both love and enjoy. Claire was excellent at listening to the type of spaces we wanted to create and finding solutions within a variety of budgets. Claire has an amazing knack for listening/visualizing what you're looking for and then blowing that out of the water! She's incredibly artistic, classy and was a joy to work with. With a small basement studio condo and minimal natural lighting, Claire was thankfully able to bring in some of her own California sunshine to our Seattle home. I believe our job may be one of the hardest with 500 sqft, a large dog, a budget, mixed in with the fact that she was hired by two artists who are naturally very opinionated and have very specific tastes. Despite having an art/design background ourselves, we hired out because we realized that we needed to have some help in settling our home rather than constantly projecting and critiquing it as if it were our artwork. It was essential to have Claire as the main backbone; to initiate and do the original decoration, then as a collaborator, and sometimes to tell us "no" and push us further. She was nearly always available for a quick call or as a delivery stand-in. We are thrilled every day when we walk into our home and would highly recommend to anyone that you give her the opportunity to bring in some of her warmth and charm to yours as well.

Claire is fantastic to work with! We've now worked with her 3 times over the course of 3 years to update our entire home. The first time, we hired her to fully design our living room and dining room, taking advantage of her full suite of services (ie design, scheduling, receiving shipments, etc.). She did a fantastic job with a tough situation: marrying my husband's clean/minimalist aesthetic with my ethnic/more feminine aesthetic, while also bringing in a few key pieces from my childhood. The result has been a comfortable, warm and stylish look that we LOVE. The second time, we hired for just a few hours to consult on our nursery. Once again, she did a fantastic job of helping me to narrow down my ideas to things that were executable and within budget. She even recommended vendors and next steps. We LOVE our son's nursery! Finally, she most recently did our bedroom, doing a great job of addressing our space/storage concerns and again, marrying my husband's desire for a clean look with my request for some feminine touches. We would highly recommend Claire for any situation - she has a great design sense, she understands budgets, and she's very open to working with what you want, from high-end to low-end. She also provided a lot of options for us, for example when we didn't like the initial living room lamps but were debating how much we wanted to spend. Thanks, Claire, for all the advice and work!

Claire's most wonderful gift is her ability to truly listen. She didn't just hear our words superficially; she was able to tune in deeply and glean the underlying atmosphere we hoped to create. We were so lucky to have found Claire! She explored so many beautiful ideas with us and her designs revealed such amazing ways to transform the rooms. It was really a lot of fun! And now, the best part is coming home to these wonderful peaceful spaces. Absolutely loving it - big thanks to Claire on such a great job!

I have photographed several of Claire's projects. She is a delight to work with, and it is obvious from the pride and exuberance her clients display, that she is not only a gifted designer, she also forms strong bonds with her clients throughout the design process. I see a lot of beautiful interiors in my profession, but Claire's always stand out. They are all magazine quality, yet completely livable. She has found that perfect balance between a beautiful design, with just the right amount of "quirks", that keeps the soul of the home and homeowner present. It is the sign of a true, top-quality designer. Although each of her projects are distinguishably different, I have not seen one yet that I haven't wished were my own home. I would recommend her, with confidence, to the best of my friends.

What I admire about Claire is that she really listened to our needs and ideas and came up with a stylish and cohesive look. She has a bona fide talent with color and paint, and was always able to offer selections within our budget. Claire is able to read a space, create a vision, and make it into a reality that has generated many compliments when people walk into our home. She is always very professional and I highly recommend her.
