Our firm was established in 2013 following Mr. Vara’s previous 5-year partnership in a local firm and twenty-five years of prior design and construction experience. We bring with us an extensive understanding of commercial, healthcare, residential, recreational, office development and retail architecture. This experience gives us the ability to understand the factors that make each project unique. Building codes, zoning requirements, economic constraints and other project specific criteria often present opportunities to create something uniquely appropriate. Being able to isolate these key issues early allows us to develop a custom approach to each project.

I have worked with Mr. Vara, of CV3 Architectural, on numerous projects in the past few years. He has continually shown a wide breadth of architectural capabilities on projects ranging from the redesign of industrial areas to the development of commercial space. His ability to understand the grey areas associated with project intent and actual client needs has consistently yielded me with high quality design services which have remained cost effective.

CV3 Architects are professional and very knowledgeable in their field. Charles, assisted our organization True Community Development Corporation with getting plans ready for a renovation project of a former firehouse. He was prompt and stayed on task working with to ensure that his completed plans would be lead to a successful project for us.

We have had CV3 work on several projects for us.Chuck is very professional and has a great knowledge base in his field.It is refreshing to find a professional who listens to you and helps you get to your final goal while always finding solutions to any problem that may pop up. Chuck is usually available and if not he will get back to you in a prompt manner. I would highly recommend him for his professional services,he is great to work with.

We hired Chuck on the recommendation of our builder to design a renovation of our summer home. We bought a dilapidated house that sits at the bottom of a steep ravine on the edge of a creek. Chuck designed the foundation for the existing house (it needed to be replaced), noted sections of the house that needed to be removed, and designed a three level house that allows us to enter at the top of the ravine. The main living area is on the lower level with lots of windows for a wide view of the creek. Chuck added a special feature, a lantern at the top of the 20 foot ceiling in the living room to provide interesting natural lighting. Chuck was quick to understand what we wanted and timely in providing the plans we needed. He made sure his design provided the structure to withstand a heavy snowload (this area averages 200" of snow a year!) We were very satisfied with Chuck's work and recommend him without reservation.

As the owner of Creative Structure Services, Inc. I am very pleased with professional & prompt services that Chuck Vara and his team CV3 Architectural, PC have provided us with our several new Dollar General Stores and our multifamily residential housing complex. His staff is very knowledgeable and efficient in providing to us a detailed design/concept for our development. We enjoy a very strong working relationship with the folks at CV3 Architectural, PC.

We needed plans for a bump out for our kitchen as we have a very small house. Mr. Vara said he would have something in 2 weeks. We called after three weeks and he was on vacation and said he would get to it when he got back.Mr. Vara had nothing for us after a month. Only after we pushed the issue did he give us something.We decided to change the design to make it smaller and he actually charged us to change the plans he never started in the first place. I was astonished when he said that we have almost exhausted our consulting fee after 2 visits. He never mentioned a fee for that. Buyer beware ask a lot of questions and get everything in writing. I'm just hoping that when we try to execute this plan that the town approves it. I have heard from others that his drawings are often incomplete. One thing he does quickly is cash your check.

CV3 Architectural PC has a very proud history of providing excellent and timely service to its clients. Unfortunately, from time to time we come across a client who is unreasonable and difficult to deal with. Much of the review written by this former client is untrue. We were able to deliver drawings in a timely manner and hold to the original fee despite the client's many changes. At one point we offered to void the contract and take a loss because of the client's unreasonable behavior (the client declined). Our hope is that you will not let the rantings of one client effect your opinion of our fine firm.

We needed drawings for a basement to go under out exhisting home. Our drawings (with extra copies) were provided in less than a week, as promised. Good price, great work. I highly recommend this architect.

Chuck Vara provided consultation for me and design services on a residential apartment rehab project. His creative design ideas and responsiveness was much appreciated. I would use him again for our next project. - Great vision and attention to detail.
