Years of experience designing interiors has taught me one truth: every home has a story, and that story starts with the client. It’s this truth that has guided every project at Morrison Interiors. We are a full-service residential design firm specializing in custom construction builds through final furnishings in Orange County, Los Angeles, and Palm Desert. We listen, and then design, collaborating with our client at every step. We do this because it consistently carries us to our goal: an artfully-designed, authentically-crafted home that is truly unique to our client and their story. In 2017, we opened our first retail store, House of Morrison. I and my team of mindful designers hand-select pieces of the highest quality, craftsmanship, and history for your home. Our goal is to create a boutique-style shopping experience like no other.

Patterson Custom Homes

It has been a pleasure to work with Denise and her team for the past few years. Their team not only creates beautiful interiors but is incredibly responsive, has a clear understanding of the construction process and key deadlines, and professionally produces their own interior design elevations – which is invaluable in custom home building. An interior design team that can not only come up with designs that are one-of-a-kind but also professionally specify the details in a timely manner is our preferred type of designer to work with and we can confidently say DMI is that type of firm. Denise is incredibly kind and cares about her clients, and we highly recommend DMI to anyone looking to hire an interior designer for their next project!

DMi was very thoughtful in translating inspirational pictures into a unified creation, to coordinating with our architect and builder throughout the design and construction phases, to scheduling and delivering the entire interior components! Denise and her lovely, talented project manager, Rachel, designed our new kitchen, updated our great room, family room, master bedroom and outdoor living spaces. The result was nothing short of amazing! We now have a beautiful new home to enjoy and couldn’t be happier with the outcome!! Denise and her team were easy to work and provided lots of assistance when we needed it.

It was our first time using a design team for a complete remodel of a home so we were apprehensive at first but all I can tell you it was wonderful!!! Denise and Rachel were great to work with , made us very comfortable and their process made it very easy for us to be able to handle such a large project for our first time . All I can say is in the end they made our new house feel like a HOME, hiring them was the best decision we ever made !!!!

I had the best experience with DMI. The design team took the time to understand what I liked and then went to work finding fabrics and one of a kind furniture pieces that were high quality and fit both my style and budget. They were always available for questions and kept me updated throughout the entire process as to the status of my order. The professionals they use to deliver and install were awesome. First time my expectations had been exceed. If you want a truly custom look they are the best choice! I also purchased a lot of accessories from House of Morrison, which again, just added to the custom look I was going for. Truly unique pieces. I'm planning more improvements and can't wait to get started again with DMI.

Denise and her team were an amazing help when I purchased my new home. From start to finish, they understood what I was looking for - warm, inviting and fun. They brought fresh and exciting ideas to the table, and helped me to see the overall vision. It's easy sometimes to become overwhelmed when selecting materials, lighting, and furniture but they made me feel confident every step of the way. My house was completely renovated - new kitchen, hardware, doors, molding, lighting, mirrors, all furnishings AND accessories. Denise listened to how I live and created a home where I can host my closest friends and family, or just kick back on my own.

Denise Morrison is an excellent designer! she worked with us on a remodel of our master bedroom and bathroom. Everything was well thought out and executed without any problems. We loved her choices of materials and she presented options that made it very easy for us to decide. She is professional but also very pleasant and easy to work with.
