Spacious kitchen, just needed to be well organized with a better solution, with updated cabinetry.

I was hired via another kitchen designer, for whom I have the most respect, who brought me into the project to convert your drawings in IKEA sized cabinetry. This project, done via email to and from New York, started nearly 3 years ago. During this process, 172 emails back and forth were shared and the order was "confirmed" several times. Each time the designs were confirmed, I took the designs up to my local IKEA, asked the IKEA co-workers to convert the approved designs into a Shopping List, each time having to double check the correct frames, shelving, drawers, legs, railings, hinges, etc. This process, as most people know, can easily take 2-3 hours. At that point, I would collect that Shopping List, and then send it to your wife, who was my email contact. Then months later I would hear from her again, and the process would start all over again. Not all of our correspondence was directly between your wife and myself. Often it was between your wife and the other Kitchen Designer, then I would be notified of another change order by the Kitchen Designer, and proceed from that point. With some of the correspondence going through the kitchen designer, this may have come across to you as me not responding immediately to your comments/concerns and I do apologize for this.

I agree that somewhere along the way, the pantry wall of cabinetry was increased in height to the taller 90" cabinet frames. Once the FINAL order was finally processed, the taller frames were on the order. I do apologize now, as I did before in writing, that I missed this, and have done what I can to help rectify the situation. The moment this was brought to my attention, I stepped up and provided all needed information to you and your wife on how and what needed to be done to rectify the exchange of cabinet frames. From what I hear, you now have a beautiful kitchen that cost you an additional delivery fee from IKEA. And, although you did ask me for compensation for the ordering error beyond the delivery fee, I did bring to your attention that not only did you take years to finalize the designs, but the continually "finalizing" of the designs cost me several additional, unpaid, trips to IKEA, to re-create and reorder your kitchen cabinets.

These comments truly come as a surprise to me since your last correspondence with me was that all was well once we got the correct pantry cabinets in place. We aim to leave every client fully satisfied with their experience and you can see from our glowing reviews, it is not the norm for someone to have a negative experience.
