DK Studio is a small residential architecture firm located in Austin, Texas. We work on projects great and small, new construction, and remodels-additions. All of our projects have their own unique design style to match the client's preference. New Homes from $1 Million to $5 Million. Whole Home Renovations $1 Million to $5 Million. Home Additions from $500,000 to $1.5 Million Ranch Design & Estates $2 Million to 5 Million. Kitchens $100,000 to $300,000. Outdoor Living Space & Kitchens $125,000 to $500,000. Estimates based on experience. Your actual costs may vary depending on the scope of your project. Dianne Kett is a licensed architect practicing since 1996. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture at the University of Maryland and her Master’s Degree at Texas A&M University. DK Studio began in 2003, with a focus on residential design and also small commercial architectural work. DK Studio’s design focus is to create a space that is full of comfort and beauty to the person who experiences it most. Much of our design work reflects an array of architectural styles as we cater to our client’s artistic desires. I told our contractor that I wanted to utilize the space in our 1970 ranch style house and he told us about DK Studio. The floor plan she came up with blew us away. She really listened to our request and made it even better!

Dianne Kett designed a kitchen remodel for us. The work included demo, new walls and openings, new tile, countertop, cabinets, lighting, appliances, etc. She develpoed various layouts and options and helped us pick the best alternative for our budget and needs. She was very patient and respecfull in this process and always had honest feedback on what she felt was best. In all, we had a great experience working with her and will give her a call for the next project. Note: she also recommeded a great contractor for our project and assisted during constructions with a few improvements.

We were referred to Dianne Kett by our interior designer after we ran into some snags with our original architect. From day one, Dianne became our trusted advisor, advocate, friend, and expert guide, in addition to creating a wonderful and joyful design which we are now living in - a gorgeous home which incorporates our 'must haves' and addressed critical elements of the land and space. She was, as we dubbed, "our warrior princess", pulling together our team, creating a perfect design just for us, revising when we needed, and shepherding the project to conclusion. She was insistent upon retention of those components of the project she felt to be critical - despite pressure, at times, from others. She recognized and supported our need to create a space which respected the land, the elements, and even enhanced the joy and well-being of the home and land. We recommend her without hesitation to clients and friends who need an architect who 'gets it', designs excellence and demands it from others, and stays with you through the entire project.

After interviewing several architects, my husband and I chose Dianne Kett of DK Studio to serve as the architect for a very extensive remodel - and the addition of 1000 square feet - of an older, two-story, 2700 square foot ranch style home we had recently purchased. Dianne brought a great deal of experience, structural expertise and creativity to the project. From the outset, we were thoroughly impressed with Dianne's knowledge regarding the structural considerations involved in such a significant remodel of an older home. She continued to impress us by learning our style and goals and incorporating them completely into her designs. Her command of our style is evident in many of the creative details she included in her designs. Dianne's designs included things that we would have never thought to include but were EXACTLY what we wanted. Dianne is extremely professional and an absolute delight to work with. She got along well with our builder and I truly felt as if they were working as a team to make sure we ended up with the home we wanted. And we did. We are absolutely thrilled with our home and would recommend Dianne Kett to anyone looking for an architect.

We hired DK Studio to help us renovate our 1970's ranch home in Tarrytown. As this was our first renovation project, we knew we needed a seasoned professional to help guide us through the process. We found that professional in Dianne Kett. We couldn't be happier with her work and guidance. We told her what we envisioned and she took that vision and made it better than we even imagined. She really listens to understand your style and implements your style throughout her design plan. She meets deadlines, helps you stay on task with upcoming phases of the project and is extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend her and DK Studio.

Kommenteret: wallpaper and wall sconce make/model? beautifulIt is not a wallpaper but tile installed on the wall. Unfortunately, the interior designer selected the tile and wall sconces and we do not have the specs.
