We hired Dwyer Contracting to build a deck and renovate 2 bathrooms, their work was outstanding. The team was professional and courteous and the end results were beautiful.

Dan and his staff were great to work with. We had several projects going at once and all were completed on-time and on-budget. We will definitely use this company again.

Two years ago we experienced a house fire causing very significant structural damage. Dan Dwyer and his team was working onsite the very next day securing what was left because of a rain storm expected a day later. Once we saw the well coordinated effort that Dan and his team exhibited in that temporary repair effort we chose to enter into contract for the rebuild effort. We are really pleased with the results achieved and the credit is owed to Dan's effective collaborative style. In short, what started out as a terrible life experience turned out to be a very positive one. We were out of our house for only 5+ months and we owe that quick turn around to Dwyer Contracting's timely management of it's qualified employees and subcontractors. I very much respect Dan Dwyer's professionalism so I wouldn't hesitate using his firm again. .

Dwyer Contracting did our roof it was very difficult job on an older home and they were magnificent, I would highly recommend.

We recently had a total makeover of our main bathroom, converting it from a dated *standard* bath, to a gorgeous SPA bath with a walk-in jetted deep tub. Every single craftsman that worked here - and there were several highly-skilled teams - was meticulous, incredibly neat and clean, and truly exhibited pride and care in every step of their work. And every person - from Dan and Breanne, to some folks who were only here ONE day out of the project, also had great *people skills* - a big reno is nerve-wracking, and little things come up that SEEM huge that day - but everything was solved with skill and calm grace. We have since hired a couple of the craftsmen to do independent work for us, and look forward to working with them again. The original contact and design was through Williams Lumber in Rhinebeck; we had two other reno projects before this, and had used other companies, and were less that satisfied - so now that we have found Williams and Dwyer Contracting, we will look not further - ever. Great work, great PEOPLE- great outcome!

Dependable and efficient from the beginning to the end. Performed multiple tasks and trades from contemporary to historic remodeling and new construction. Would not hesitate to use in the future. I've had experience with him as a hire and referral.

As an interior designer I work with lots of local builders and contractors. Dwyer Contracting is one of my absolute favorites! I love the whole team. Everyone has a great CAN-DO attitude and is solution orientated. I really enjoy working with each and everyone on Dwyer's team. I will continue to refer Dwyer to my clients and look forward to creating beautiful spaces together. Dwyer Contracting doesn't price projects to get projects, which I really respect. I like to say "you get what you pay for" - Dan and his team invest a lot of time up front to provide a thorough estimate, that is line item-ed. So there are less surprises down the road. I personally don't like when contractors operate under "time and material" only- this is too open ended and leaves the client vulnerable to understanding the total cost. Of course in construction there are unforeseen problems that arise but this process allows for more transparency. Dwyer's work is high quality, and they stand behind it. It is few and far between to find a contractor that has an office staff, that alone allows for a very organized process with a strict time line. Dan, Chris and their crew are my go-to guys in my area. I can depend on them to not only contact me right away but to problem solve when there are construction issues that need immediate attention. They are great with all aspects of construction - from new construction to restoration to remodeling. They use their own sub-contractors which means that all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed. That means when for instance a bathroom renovation requires cabinetry, tiling, plumbing, and electrical, all the pieces are managed and put in place at the right time. Their work is beautiful, the work is done in a timely fashion, their prices are competitive and their crew are friendly and polite. I not only use them for my personal needs but I feel confident recommending them to my clients.

The kitchen/dining area in our Shandaken (Catskills), NY house--built in 1967 as an uninsulated hunters' lodge--was on its way out. The oven no longer worked, the third of the three refrigerators we went through was utterly inefficient, the cabinet drawers often stuck as if they were cemented in place! Long story short: Dan Dwyer and his excellent and friendly crew gutted the area, added insulation, installed recessed lighting, rewired extensively, and revamped the plumbing (so that we no longer need to crawl under the house to drain the pipes in winter). They installed the new cabinets perfectly. They removed a wall to extend the small kitchen. All that and more was AFTER Dan himself suggested a new design, including removing the wall, which worked beautifully. When we saw what his crew accomplished with the kitchen (where they discovered and eliminated mold, an unexpected health benefit), and noted the exquisite tiling of the new floor and back splash, we asked them to sand and poly the floor and staircase in the adjacent living room, install insulation there as well, and replace the molding (his suggestion, not ours).
