Eastward Companies

Eastward Companies have done several projects for me, as well as for my neighbors after they have seen the results. Many companies eventually get to a good outcome, but often at the expense of annoyance, misdirection and double speak. Eastward also strives to "do the right thing" and provide the best possible product at the budget provided. They are courteous, detail-oriented, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great outcome. They have my highest recommendation!

I hired John Marsh & Eastward Companies for my complete office renovation. I needed a contractor who could get the job done in an 11 week period because we had to move from our old office into the new one by September 1st. They started the job on June 11th and we moved in August 15th - two weeks a head of schedule. John & his crew where fantastic to work with and the level of quality and look of the new offices is well above my expectations. We had issues (from the old building) that came up during construction and John & his crew were right on top of it and were able to get the right people in and make the repairs so we didn't have any down time. I can't say enough about John & Eastward Companies. I would highly recommend them to any one and would be happy to provide a reference for him. I will use him in the future for other projects I do.

In one word....NIGHTMARE. We have used this company in the past with good results. Something has changed and this experience COULD NOT HAVE BEEN WORSE. Custom renovation including kitchen, 4 baths , bedrooms and public space. We are embarrassed to have friends and family see the project to say nothing of feeling sick when we look at the results ourselves. Inferior workmanship, no respect for personal property or timeline. Project is not managed and owner is all but invisible. After a year of empty promises and continued ineptitude we have terminated this builder. The project is unfinished and we will regret using this company for years and years to come.

We recently retained the services of Eastward Companies to renovate our Condo in Chatham. From our first meeting with Bill and John Marsh we were thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, understanding of what we wanted to achieve and their ability to hear what we were saying. The portfolio of homes that they have built or renovated on the Cape, spoke to the quality of work that we were seeking. We have worked closely with John Marsh throughout this project and found him to be extremely competent, professional, and a terrific communicator. John is a person of integrity who is true to his word. You can count on him to return calls promptly, and handle with ease any issues that may arise during construction. He kept the project on schedule and on budget by selecting appropriate sub contractors and suppliers. The entire Eastward Companies staff was enormously helpful and a pleasure to work with throughout this process. We would highly recommend John Marsh and the Eastward Companies to friends, family and others for any construction project they may be considering.

My home building experience was a joy with Eastward Companies. From the first sit down during the design phase to the very last walk thru of the finished product, every part of the job was easy.
