Fifield Piaker Elman Architects is an award-winning architecture firm whose passion for design is evident in a wide range of commercial, institutional and residential projects. Versatile in both contemporary and historically inspired design, we have converted landmark buildings for multi-family housing, created signature retail and institutional environments, designed high-end apartment interiors and private residences, and renewed high-rise buildings. We bring an energized approach to architecture. Founded in 1982 and working within the tri-state area, we offer skilled teams, led personally by one of our three principals, John Fifield, David Piaker and Mark Elman. Often involved in transforming historic buildings, we may insert a new design within an existing environment or restore significant buildings and interiors. Clients appreciate our technical experience in integrating new building systems with existing base systems, and phasing the work to accommodate tenancies during construction.
