Om os

Family owned and operated, Fritz Carpentry and Contracting was established in 2010 after the owner, Steven, had continuously worked for other contractors while also designing and building furniture for his own clients. The business was formed after a great deal of furniture clients expressed the desire for him to apply the same high quality design and craftsmanship to their home renovations. My Previous experience in furniture design and woodworking has set the foundation for the company. Steven has a keen eye for detail and believes that the overall aesthetic is rooted in high quality- no matter the size of the project. Ranging from crown molding, to full builds, Fritz Carpentry and Contracting assists customers through all steps of the process from establishing all options to selecting finishes. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance and building strong, lifelong, relationships is the goal. Based on the mainline in Devon, PA, Fritz Carpentry and Contracting is fully licensed and insured and serves the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Fritz Carpentry provides quality workmanship and is very creative. They can handle everything from custom cabinetry to fine custom stonework and tile installations. Historic restorations to match existing work is something they do very well. Very professional, easy to work with and cares alot about their work at every level throughout the project.

We have a modern/contemporary home in an area with more traditional architecture and its always been hard to find contractors who can truly be partners to us as we design and enhance our home. What I love about Steven and Gretchen is they combine beautiful artistry and aesthetic with an ability to pivot to the client's tastes: a truly rare combination in my opinion. They recently completed our main bathroom renovation and it is amazing! From the custom vanity to the tile and trim, Steve and his team pay attention to every detail. We have a lot more projects to complete in our home and we've found our partner! I look forward to working with them often, and soon!

I have had Steven Fritz do multiple projects for me, and they have all been fantastic. His level of artisanship is unmatched. He has just completed an upscale marble bath for me, and it is gorgeous. The tile work and carpentry are fantastic. He has also fabricated multi- piece moulding for my living room that is so precise you would think it is original to the house. . I live in a historic (1760) home, and I wouldn't trust anyone but Fritz Carpentry & Contracting to do work on it.
