Over 45 years ago, after serving his country as a Marine and veteran of the Korean War, Allyn Harth chose to make homebuilding his life's work. So when he founded Harth Builders in 1996, he began with a long-held belief taught to him by his years of experience – that it takes not only the highest levels of experience, quality, workmanship, service and design to make a home special, but also a personal touch. That is why every project we design and build incorporates each client's own ideas, personalities and dreams. It is the crucial difference between creating a house and "a home with heart." And it is the foundation on which our company continues to build its reputation. Today, Harth Builders is managed by Allyn and his son, Greg. Together, they represent more than 53 years of experience in remodeling and residential, light commercial, and heavy civil construction. Both father and son hold BS degrees in engineering (industrial and civil.) We employ a staff of loyal employees and have nurtured strong professional relationships with a core group of subcontractors over the years. Harth remodeled my kitchen and two bathrooms. Everyone at Harth has been outstanding to work with. The results are fantastic, of course. I have been so pleased with the process to get there as well. The communication and responsiveness is great. They knew schedule was a concern for me and went above and beyond to ensure everything stayed on plan. Even my neighbors commented on how hardworking and considerate everyone has been—and you don’t often hear neighbors being so pleased by construction projects next door! I have recommended Harth to everyone I know.

Harth remodeled our hall bathroom - including removing a closet and moving walls & plumbing to give us more room and a better layout. The process was great from start to finish - well organized and well documented, and they told us what to expect as things went along. Their attention to detail was great. Their tradespersons and subs were all top-notch. They were a pleasure to work with and we are very pleased with the result.

Our experience with Harth was exceptional! From our very first meeting with them they were very attentive to our ideas and very attentive to us as we explained what we wanted done Chris, Kevin, and the whole Harth team worked together to deliver an exceptional experience. Our designer, Dayna, listened to us as we told her what we would like to see in the finished product. At our next design meeting she took us to places we did not envision with her design. She took us outside our “comfort zone”! It was everything we wanted and more! What a wonderful experience. Her design just made us say, “Oh Wow! We just loved everything. She worked with us fine-tuning our choices, and the finished product is more than we could’ve ever imagined for our Main Bedroom, Bathroom, and Walk-in Closet. We would highly recommend Harth for any project that you would need to have done.

Harth completely remodeled our bathroom and did some work on the adjoining room (moving closets around). Overall a great experience with all parts of the team from the designers to the various tradespeople working in the house. They kept things clean as they worked (we've had demo done in the house before and this was 100 times cleaner), kept the hours they said they would keep (no showing up unexpectedly), and were all around informative and nice to deal with (I work from home so I was around for the whole process). Would definitely hire them again for future renovations.

Harth exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The design/build process was very easy, and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome in our new kitchen/living area, mudroom, half bath and pantry! During the 3 month construction in our house, the Harth team was respectful and a joy to have in our home. Our dogs will miss all of them too :) I highly recommend Harth, and would happily do another project with them!!!

Though we planned this project well in advance, we ended up doing a coronevation with Harth. The result was a beautiful transformation of our home, at a time when we’re spending ALL our time at home...Harth definitely exceeded our expectations. The upfront process was straightforward and clear. Costs, options, and timelines were all handled in a transparent manner. Invoicing was right on schedule. We had personalized attention from a Project Manager who accompanied us on the major renovation every step of the way. This master bath and closet remodel experience was so rewarding because of the client-focus, professionalism and quality workmanship of Harth. We certainly will be working with Harth again for our future renovations.
