William has been my Gardener for 20 years. He handles my 6 acre property with beautiful artistically created flower beds, greenery, large oaks and great maintenance. I highly recommend William and Horticultural Solutions for all your outside land design and maintenance!

We hired Bill Spitzer, owner of Horticultural Solutions, LLC. to fully landscape a very boring flat lot in Westchester County, NY. Our wish list was: 2 stone walks, flowering trees and approximately 5 gardens; consisting of both full sun and shade gardens. We both also loved fragrant flowering plants and lots of color... William showed up to our first meeting and looked closely at the yard, discussed our likes and dislikes, asked a lot of questions including, what we wanted the end result to be, etc, etc. We talked about all the ideas that popped into his head as he surveyed the land. Our first impression of him was that he was very professional, friendly, and very knowledgable about all aspects of horticulture, from the type of soil we had to what types of trees, plants and flowering bushes that we like. He explained which ones would and wouldn't work well and why. He jotting down notes the entire time we spent together. He knew all about flowering bushes, trees, the type of soil that we had and what we could do to make the soil more conducive to certain plants and also plants that would do beautifully in the soul that was there. He in no way rushed us through the consultation and towards the end, we set up a time to meet and review his ideas. He returned with drawings and a proposal which included some fabulous ideas and we spent the rest of the time asking questions and were more than satisfied with his answers... After his presentation was completed, we hired him on the spot and proceeded to set up a date to begin what would become an incredibly beautiful mixture of grass, trees, flowers plants and other perennials which we have enjoyed over the years. We hadn't thought much about was what the garden look like as it matured and how much care would it require to keep it in its current state. Well, fast forward five years, and everything looks just as gorgeous, if not more than it originally did. We have continued to hire them annually to maintain the yard which requires very little maintenance so, it's a no brainier to have them take care of what needs to be done... Their team is prompt, polite, knowledgable, professional and neat and always tidy up after finishing their workday, even if they are returning the next day. I was referred to Horticultural Solutions, LLC by a local Realtor, and ever since they transformed our yard into a work of art, we have given their card and or name out to so many people with the highest of praise. They simply are the best horticulturists around the Westchester and Fairfield Counties... I don't think that you can find anyone with as much experience, knowledge, creativity, not to mention the way they conduct their business. All the employees that we have ever met share the same work ethic as the owner, Wiliam Spitzer, who has been a pleasure to work with over the years...

Horticultural Solutions has tended our property marvelously for 25 years. Bill Spitzer has an impeccable eye for detail, matched by a comprehensive vision for the ever-evolving landscape. Bill is a excellent listener, with an impressive ability to create whatever we dream up! He regularly makes pragmatic, creative suggestions to carefully guide us along the way. The whole Horticultural Solutions crew is fastidious, incredibly hardworking, and knowledgeable. Bill created a parterre rose garden for us, an apple and peach orchard, a wildflower meadow, and has maintained and improved the bones of a historic Olmsted Brothers formal garden. He has devotedly tended to the dozens of specimen trees on the property. And Bill was there when we needed him the most-- when Hurricane Sandy and other extreme wind storms felled dozens of those trees. We HIGHLY recommend the Horticultural Solutions team!

We hired Horitcultural Soluntions, LLC after our long-term landscaper retired out-of-state two years ago. Our property was always a showpiece and well-maintained. That being said, the transformation we have experienced with Horticultural Solutions continues to be quite astounding! Our yard went from beautiful to spectacular (or as we like to say, from a 7 to a 10!) HS has pruned and replanted most of our specimen tress. They look better than ever. The floral designs they have come up with have far exceeded my expectations. They meet all agreed upon deadlines and are very receptive to our input and budgetary requirements. We are very happy with our decision to hire HS and would highly recommend them.

I never thought working on my lawn would be so special. Usually I hired someone to cut my lawn and maintain the greenery. But once Bill's team at Horticultural Solutions took over, I was amazed at the difference. Hosting family gatherings in the Summer was a different experience. My kids love to play on the trampoline, and our previous guys just worked around it. HS would pick up the trampoline, maintain the lawn below and put it back, every time. I like how they don't cut corners and focus on a holistic approach to lawncare. Keep up the great work guys.
