Images FOR DESIGN - James Bourret

My wife and I saw Jamie's work as we walked past his studio in Ketchum last year. His photographs captured the beauty that surrounded us in ways that are difficult to describe. We were particularly drawn to a photograph of Aspens in the fall with the sun shining through them. We asked Jamie if it was possible for him to create a print that was 8' by 6' for the entry of our home and maintain the brilliance of the colors and detail. He did it. Now when you enter our home it feels like you can walk straight into an Aspen forest. It's a truly unique work of art.

I've ordered artwork on several occasions from James over the past couple of years. Jamie is an excellent photographer. His work is more than beautiful. It gives you a feeling for the moment - a feeling of actually being there. Since we were most drawn to his Sawtooth Mountains collection, we were able to sit down with Jamie in his Sun Valley studio and ask about the locations and the effort which he went to in order to be at that one inspirational moment. I highly recommend Jamie's work, but I would also recommend taking the time to learn the human side behind each of his images.
