We have worked with Jaque on a few projects. Our current one is a Desert Contemporary home in Scottsdale, AZ and we are in the review process with the HOA. The work is very much conforming to the site and offers great creativity as well as exciting features. The price on the home is about $2 million. Pure Design has created a 3D model on it and that is very helpful in visualization for prospective buyers.

When we bought our town home eleven years ago, we purchased a shell. Jacque not only did our decorating, she designed the interior floor plan based upon our life style. Last year, it was time to re-paint, recarpet and replace some of our upholstered furniture that had worn well, but were due. The floor plan, cabinetry and hard goods went untouched and were as contemporary and relevant after 10 years as the day we move into our home. With new carpet, paint on the walls and new upholstered furniture our home has a brand new look, but using the original life style matched floor plan that remains perfect for us. Her work stands the test of time.

Jaque and her talented crew at PURE Design Environments worked on several episodes of the DIY Network show Bath Crashers. From idea to conception, they worked closely with the production team to create one-of-a-kind bathrooms that left a mark on the show. The entire PURE Design staff are extremely professional, beyond creative and were an absolute blast to work with. Their ability to take the customers wants and turn them into something above and beyond what they could have ever imagined constantly impressed the BC crew and was one of many reasons why we kept asking them back.

Jaque was the designer for our bathroom on the TV show Bath Crashers. Although we didn't get to spend much time together in the planning process, the one meeting we had gave me great confidence that she was going to knock the design out of the park! Being a designer myself (not interior, event designer) I thought I would be nervous not having control over the design but she put me at ease. Her experience was evident as she quickly assessed my style, wants and needs for my bathroom. When it came time to film the show and the plans were revealed, my husband and I were both thrilled! She changed the layout to our bathroom in a way that I never would've thought of. The fixtures she chose were perfect, I love my bathtub so much! Jaque has been a long term partner of the Minneapolis Home + Garden Show and is going into her fourth year specifically designing the Main Stage for the show. Jaque & her team at PURE have such amazing vision & creativity. Their designs are unique, & the end result has blown me away! In addition to interior design/decorating, we hired PURE architects to draw the plans to finish our basement, & Jaque's team coordinated with our general contractor & gave specific plans & details for each subcontractor. PURE Design has also drawn plans for backyard hardscaping to complement & fit in seamlessly with our house's exterior facade. Jaque & her team are not "me too" cookie-cutter designers, but rather unique & provide a jaw-dropping result.

We engaged PURE Design and Jaque Bethke after interviewing several firms, they absolutely stood out from all of the rest of our options. Our project was to combine two condos on the penthouse level of a high rise (one was our existing space, the other condo was recently purchased to be combined to give us more space). While we had initial thoughts on a floor plan, their ideas took the space to the next level. We would not have imagined what they came up with, it was perfect. Jaque and her team are not only experts in their field, they are good people who are fun to work with and will be lifelong friends. PURE Design's process of interviewing us brought out not only our current needs but our living needs for the future -- we ended up with a design that will work/grow with our needs to come for years (grandbabies, dogs). Their attention to detail and addition of practical solutions for the smallest of details was perfect for us, we like the organization and creative solutions (a place for everything, with really cool solutions that are WOW factors, e.g., a swing out cribbage table at our bar, hospitality station in our master bathroom). They came up with super spectacular features for our ceilings (which really ties the two condo spaces together into 1 cohesive unit), glass features, lighting (LED on bar shelves, ceiling, spa), and the colors throughout the space that clearly work in a way we would never have come up with on our own. Finally, PURE Design is super collaborative with our contractor and his subs, they are onsite to work out details and really "talk the talk", they know their stuff and their attention to detail means nothing gets missed. They have pushed our builder to do some really creative things (glass walls, curved banquettes, ceilings with several levels, etc.). We highly recommend Jaque Bethke and PURE Design. Jane and Bill

I contacted PURE Design Environments after seeing a picture of a glass island on Houzz. Though they had not done the bar/island, she knew it was done by Glass Art Design. After several phone conversations and efforts to help, they forwarded my information to Colleen at Glass Art and were intricately involved in helping me reach the right person. Though I have yet to do business (my project is not yet complete) with PURE design, I certainly will turn to them when I am ready to decorate. It's rare to find a company who is willing to help without a monetary gain. Thank you for being a rare company!

We had an awkward expanded space off our casual dining area that I was interested in turning into a bar area. My walk behind bar did not work in the space, however, Jaque Bethke created a design for a beautiful walk up bar and entertaining space. Her design made maximum use of the space by moving the entry to a storage closet and expanding the space available for the bar countertop and cabinets. The PURE Design Environments Inc. staff sourced all the materials, and found beautiful accent glass tiles, cabinet knobs and handles and other details that elevated the finished product to a new level. They also advised us of when it was possible to experience significant savings by ordering items directly from internet sites, or by using a local cabinet maker. We are thrilled with the result!

Jaque Bethke designed a one of a kind, magnificent 800 square foot mother-in-law suite above our garage. Complete with kitchen, full private, bath, sleeping for four with loft, bookcase, library ladder, and creative eating area overlooking a pool. The architectural design is second to none. She beautifully maximized every single square foot of space. The interior design is equally exceptional. She used our existing furniture updated with funky, fun fabrics I never would have chosen myself. I love it. Jacque and her staff are exceedingly professional, qualified and easy to work with. They are good listeners and work very hard to provide exactly what you want but with an added flavor and flair uniquely PURE DESIGN! I can't wait to work with them again in the near future.

PURE Deisgn has always been committed to excellence in their design and follow through from top to bottom with unique pieces that you can't find elsewhere. They have a clear vision and can help the customer find solutions to complex problems.

Our project was small; a kitchen remodel that was well on its way when we contacted PURE Design. We needed help with color selection for cabinets and floors as well as with backsplash tile. We were very clear during the initial consultation August of 2013 and our needs did not change from our initial meeting, The size of the project apparently warranted an intern of sorts who was nervous, seemed inexperienced and unaware of the many planning needs in working with multiple professionals. We communicated our timelines and the fact that we had a floor installer lined up, as well as cabinet makers, Again, we just needed color and tile consult. The time of initial consult we were 2.5 months out from our scheduled flooring and cabinet installs. We finally had the final design meeting one week before our parquet floors were to be removed. Jacque Bethke was present at this meeting and clearly had done all of the design work, The recommendations were beautiful in theory but nothing was doable with our timeline, We were unaware that these things take weeks to order. Had we known that we would be considering materials that weren't readily available we could have moved our contractors around with fair notice. We were advised to install an attractive but laminate flooring (not real wood, which I said at least a dozen times was our preference). We responded that our flooring guy was a sole proprietor who held a spot on his schedule for us, we didn't want to screw him over and they said "so what". We were advised to remove our light fixture (which we had repeatedly said we loved, was a huge investment and would be staying) and put on Craigslist. The color recommendations on the cabinets were good and we used them We forged ahead, picked our own floors, had them installed by our guy, had cabinets painted in the colors they recommended, selected our own tile and never heard from them again. I could go on and on about missed additional opportunities with us and our circle of friends, family and neighbors, but there is no need. The incompetence and lack of respect was astonishing, Every time we get a compliment on our light fixture, which is often, I tell the story of the rude designers. We just laugh. And now I'm laughing that I, the unhappy customer who finished the job on my own (and it's beautiful by the way) was asked to write a review. It's hilarious and sad and speaks to the unorganized and arrogant nature of this firm.

Building our home with Jaque Bethke was a wonderful experience. Jaque had a keen sense of capturing the essence of our personality and style. She took our vision and breathed life into it. Jaque has an unique, cutting edge style of her own and gave us many fantastic ideas to incorporate into our design. She truly took into consideration how our family lives and then took charge. Her design esthetic is to maximize space and light, creating look that is modern yet elegant. Because of our loyal friend Jaque our home is the most beautiful space I have ever seen. In addition to a beautiful home, Jaque managed to coordinate the efforts of many parties to be sure that our project kept moving along in a timely fashion. She works with only the finest resources, from local master craftspeople, high end vendors, and European designers.
