Cassie Botelho/Joao has an incredible eye for interiors and his passion for form, elegance and space have been instrumental in shaping the new look to several of our rooms. Adding touches of luxe with new exquisite furniture or complimenting existing spaces with new fabrics or martini tables to add elegance. Humble, yet sufficiently persuasive, Joao encourages you to be bold in subtle ways, breathing new life and design to your home. Design led, inspired by craftsmanship and attention to every little detail. Highly recommendable.

I have been working with Joao since almost a year now and was thrilled to see his studio "Casa Botelho". The studio is a huge gorgeous place, curated very meticulously with a lot of details and symmetry (as you all can already see in his project pictures). Besides his eye for a great design and detail, he definitely knows how to mix different materials together and add warmth to a space. It was a complete treat to have experienced his Martini Collection, Custom Fabrics & accessories and Bespoke accent pieces. Highly recommended!!

We hired Joao to redesign our living room and terrace to create a warmer ambiance using different textures / mix of colours / lights. We also wanted to link the outside with the inside in order to invite us to come and chill out more often on the terrace ! The result is fantastic, as good if not better than what Joao showed us through his drawings at the beginning of his work. The usage of London bricks inside and outside has created this link, the beautiful lights from buster and punch are bringing this industrial/lofty tone that we've mixed up with some very sleek marble tables (dining and coffee tables).... super pleased with the result - Thanks to Joao !!!

Joao of Casa Botelho was an absolute joy to work with. He had immediate clarty of vision, but never failed to take into account our thoughts as clients. He advised on colour schemes, furniture and lighting choices, de-cluttering and introducing touches of luxe as he went along. Our much loved family home of thirty years, had good 'bone structure' but was extremely tired. Joao totally transformed the feeling of the house, yet managed to stay totally within our budget.. He has an incredible sense of style, but even more crucially, has amazing people skills. Joao was unfailingly patient and charming - key qualities when you are dealing with clients who want a transformation but are nervous about radical change! We couldn't be happier with the transformative effect of his input. Sian and Ian
