Chase Renovations built my deck this April, and they did a great job. Jacek was very easy to work with. He addressed all our concerns and made it a hassle-free experience. If I need a contractor again, I would not think twice before choosing Chase Renovations.

Chase Renovations is absolutely the best contractor I have worked in the almost 40 years I have owned my old house. That includes two kitchen renovations, having the floors redone twice, redoing the basement and lots and lots of painting. The company is a pleasure to work with - they go above and beyond to do things right. I would hire them for anything. You should too!

I take this moment with pleasure to recommend and provide this review of Chase Renovations. Jacek and his team of dedicated employees transformed my townhome from the original 1960’s structure to a home in the 21 century and beyond. I love my home. Chase renovations listened to my concerns, advised on cost cutting measures, and are very proactive. They saw my vision and worked within my budget. It was great value for the money spent. I whole heartily recommend their services, and would use them again without hesitation.

Five stars doesn’t suffice! My wife and I were looking around for a contractor for several months until one day we were driving and came across Chase Renovations. During our consultation I was able to share my vision and Jacek also gave me some insight and his expertises making me feel comfortable. . His crew came in and delivered what we visioned in the promised time frame. He also kept his word to stay on the job until completed and that he did. Also, i was able to leave his crew in my home while i ran to the store to pick up material and while i was gone they kept rocking and rolling. And that meant the world to me. There’s so much i want to say but i would need more and more time. In closing ill just leave it at this, i would definitely refer Chase renovation to any and everyone i know who’s looking for a contractor. In fact my wife and i will be reaching out to him in a few months to start the work in our basement. My partner and I considered hiring Jacek with Chase Renovations for a full gut of our 2-story row house and 14 ft addition (a $300K project). In the end, we went with another builder but had a great experience working with Jacek and highly recommend him. Because of the size of our project, we worked with Jacek for over a year through a couple of big revisions to our architectural plans. He came to the house a couple of times to see the existing conditions and again with his subcontractors to assess the electrical and HVAC upgrades that would be needed. My experience in general looking for builders in DC was incredibly frustrating. I learned that it's a builder's market, not a consumer's market. There are so many opportunities for builders in DC that we had a tough time getting builders to respond to our inquiries. But working with Jacek was easy and refreshing. He was responsive, professional, patient, and knowledgeable. His estimates were competitive and his references had great things to say about him. We were very close to choosing him, but went with another builder with whom we had established a closer relationship. Nonetheless, I appreciate all the time and work Jacek put into answering our questions, preparing his bid, updating his estimates, and being patient with us throughout that I wanted to write him a good review. Jacek even offered to serve as a second opinion should we need it during the construction process. We will certainly be reaching out to Jacek for any future projects.

Chase Renovations (Jacek Kaczmarek) completed our bathroom renovation in July 2019. We were very impressed with the quality of their work - the final product is excellent. Jacek was professional and courteous to deal with - he provided a thorough estimate within a day of the initial visit that was quite reasonable when compared to other bids we received. He also had a good eye for the kind of work we wanted and offered solutions that fit with our needs. He communicated well throughout the project, even when there were a few unexpected hiccups (plumbing supplier gave wrong rough in for shower trim which needed to be ripped out of the finished wall). The crews also took great care around the house, applying protective coverings to floors and walls and cleaning up thoroughly each day, which was nice considering we have two little ones at home. I would not hesitate to call Jacek for my next project, big or small.

Jacek and the team at Chase Renovations just did a full remodel of my very small bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with it. As a first time homeowner with a tiny studio, getting anyone to even respond to me about remodeling my small bathroom was like pulling teeth. Jacek however was more than happy to take on my relatively small (small for him, big for me) project. He had a lot of great recommendations for the design of the bathroom, and was willing to work with my budget when I told him some things might be out of reach. I definitely recommend him for any projects you might have!

We recently purchased a new house in DC where previous contractors had left a wide range of poor construction for us when we moved in. Chase met us on day 1 and worked wonderfully to correct and improve everything we asked of them. Chase covered a wide range of work from drywall and window replacement to water heater installation and deck support repairs without hesitation and with the highest quality of work. Timeliness and flexibility were better than we could have asked for in a renovations construction company. I will certainly be reaching out to them again when necessary.

Jacek and his team completed an impeccable renovation of our Capitol Hill home, including a brand new kitchen and master bathroom installation. The project came in on-budget and within the promised timeline, which seems to be a minor miracle in this industry. More importantly, Jacek was a pleasure to interact with - sharing our excitement and always responsive to our ideas and questions. His team was incredibly professional and detail-oriented. Since the renovation completed, we can't stop talking about all the parts we like the most. We would have no hesitation with working with Jacek again and have already reached out to have him give us an estimate on a smaller project we have in mind.

I cannot speak more highly of Chase Renovations, Jacek and his team. In our hiring process, we interviewed 4 other contractors and went with Chase, a decision that we've never regretted. In terms of pricing, Chase is fair. We had cheaper offers, but from our calculus Chase seemed to be the best mix of quality, price, and trustworthiness. In speaking with my colleagues, I think our instincts were right. Our house is beautiful, right out of Pinterest (I'll upload photos soon). We did a complete gut, to the studs, moved walls and added a full bath in our basement. Our real estate agent visited us to see the before and after and was very impressed with the quality and workmanship. Chase's style is modern/mid-century modern /European which is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this end-to-end solution to what would have been a nightmare-ish.
