Surrey Hills Construction

I worked with Surrey Hills Construction (SHC) on a whole flat refurbishment project (2016), with the building works lasting 12 weeks. The clients asked me to complete all the design work prior to going out to tender. This included revising the internal layout of the flat to create an open plan kitchen/living room, improve the size of the bathroom and also providing additional storage. After succeeding in their bid, Jim of SHC and I met with the client prior to the project starting to discuss the project in detail. SHC’s attention to detail was impressive and throughout the project Jim and his team were excellent at keeping in touch, meaning any unforeseen issues that arose were quickly resolved. SHC did excellent work, with each of the trades showing great attention to detail. Their experience and professionalism showed throughout all stages of the project and made the whole process run smoothly, making it a pleasant experience for everyone involved. What impressed me as a contractor was their scheduling and time keeping - meaning there were no nasty surprises for the client. My design, which included a new lighting and electrical scheme were carried out exactly to specification, meaning the end result was as planned and agreed with the client. Any design is only as good as its execution - and the end result was great. I hope it won’t be too long before I get to work with Surrey Hills Construction again, and certainly do not hesitate in recommending them to any of my clients.
