I engaged JMH Design to design and manage a total refurbishment on a 3 bedroom townhouse and they were brilliant. Jen brought clever design ideas, wonderful inspiration and showed a commitment to the project that far exceeded my expectations. She was sensitive to my budget when specifying products and worked with me to achieve the look I was after - a welcome relief after my previous encounters with other interior designers who wanted to impose their ideas on me. That said, Jen's ideas were so good that I soon came to totally trust her and I am totally delighted with the outcome of the project. Jen worked very well with my builder and her eye for detail meant there were no surprises in the project. I was able to go into the project clear as to what it was going to cost and how it was going to look. Jen was very good at keeping the project on track and drove the project very effectively, achieving timelines and budget savings that I could not have achieved without her - which I particularly appreciated as it was an investment property that could not be let until the refurbishments were complete. JMH was engaged to carry out interior architectural and decorative design on a major renovation of a small workers cottage in the Brisbane CBD. Her appreciation and execution of space and structure was excellent. She had an excellent knowledge of local and interstate suppliers. The result was a compact area of 140sq m providing 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and two entertainment areas as well as a laundry, store room and useable attic space. Innovative use of space has transformed this area into a highly functional, spacious and comfortable house.
