I contacted Jo Kheir to assist with the concept and design of my new beauty salon. I had followed her work on Instagram and Facebook for a while and really liked her style. Although Jo doesn't usually work on commercial projects, she agreed to do so. Jo was very excited about the project and threw herself into it from start to finish. Jo came up with the concept of "ageless beauty" and worked on a colour scheme that we used not only throughout the salon, but as part of our branding also. She designed the salon to maximize space, custom designed most of the joinery, came up with storage options, lighting options and accessorized the salon to make it not only beautiful but in keeping with the "ageless beauty" concept of the salon. She meticulously chose artwork, mirrors, accessories; down to cabinet knobs and coat hooks. Jo helped to make the daunting project of fitting out my salon painless and I was constantly complimented by clients and passer-bys how beautiful it was. I have since left the salon but having such a beautiful shop made me a very proud business owner. I am very grateful that she decided to take on the project. Jo was very easy to work with.
