We are an award winning design firm that has tackled everything from small projects to large scale renos and custom-build homes for over 20 years. We can guide you through it all, and we'll even do the decorating for you! The trades we deal with will make your project a reality, from general contractors to custom cabinetmakers to painters, plumbers, electricians and tile layers. We offer architectural drawings, CAD drawings, or chicken scratch sketches, depending on your needs. We specialize in residential projects, and we serve clients in and around Montreal, QC. And hey, did you know that we sell AND install Hunter Douglas, Maxxmar and Sol-R blinds, and we offer custom drapery too? We do windows! ;)

Joanne was very supportive throughout our whole home renovation project. She was my eyes and ears for many on site visits that were a challenge to navigate and organize given the ongoing pandemic. Joanne truly values her client’s happiness and satisfaction with the outcome of her projects. She is dedicated and is always available and approachable to help address any renovation “hiccups” that might come your way. As an added bonus, she is lots of fun to work with!

Joanne did an EXCEPTIONAL job in every way! She is professional, kind, patient, creative and talented. I recommend her wholeheartedly! Joanne and her wonderful and talented assistant Karen worked tirelessly, on budget and on schedule. the quality of her work was impeccable and flawless. My aging mother found both Joanne and Karen delightful to work with and is thrilled with the outcome. Visitors to my mom's apartment are blown away by how gorgeous it is., My mom says she continues to be delighted every time she opens the door. Joanne is upbeat, professional and a top notch designer. Joanne has been a part of our family for the past 3 years. It began with our basement renovation which consisted of completely redesigning the layout and supporting us in choosing the products. It then moved on to replacing stair railing and windows. Our last was the complete redesign of our main floor, including kitchen. She provided full floor plans which our contractor was very impressed with. I am certain I would not have my sanity today if it was not for Joanne. She was always there when I needed her and will definitely be the one who I will call for our upstairs bathroom. Thank you Joanne!! You’re awesome!!

I’ve worked with Joanne for the last year from the planning stage to now almost completion of a custom home. She has been indispensable throughout the entire process. I really appreciate that she always tries to accommodate, even last minute meetings when needed. Couldn’t have done this without her! Amazing designer! Guided me through the entire process.

This is our first home, and our first time going through a renovation project of this scale and Joanne was indispensable to our experience. She was vastly knowledgeable (from designing to choosing materials to the construction work itself), practical in her design, efficient with her time (we did 3 bathrooms/ a walk in closet/ front entrance/ stained floors/ painted the whole house in 2.5 months) and flexible to our needs. Moreover, she was extremely supportive, generous with her time, respectful and so much fun to work with. At times the project felt stressful, even overwhelming, and she never failed to re-assure us, to guide and to teach us, on a professional and personal level. Truly, finding Joanne to help us design and project manage the renovations of our new home was the biggest blessing. We could not have done this without her, and cannot ever imagine renovating the house in the future without her.

Joanne and her crew were outstanding. Friendly, professional and understanding, they worked with our budget to give us the best possible outcome. We are delighted with both rooms that she designed for us. Nothing we discussed was too much or too weird, we never felt that we were bothering her with our phone calls, and everyone involved in the project was exceptional. Working with Wow Great Place was the best decision we could have made! We had a huge project (floors, new kitchen, 2+ bathrooms, floor plan reconfigurations, closet & storage design, lighting, paint....you name it!). Everyone said it couldn’t be done in the time frame we set out; Joanne from Wow Great Place said she could make it happen AND SHE DID. She stayed in constant contact, was always available when needed and had some amazing and creative ideas. She was also there to talk me “down” when it got to be overwhelming. Her industry contacts were invaluable and she is an incredible at multitasking. She wears many hats and they all look great on her, but not as great as our new home now does!!!
