With more than 30 years in the construction industry and over 20 years providing kitchen and bathroom design services, along with cabinetry sales, my goal at Creative Kitchen Design is to create a space that is uniquely yours, with a a design that fits both your lifestyle and budget. By working closely with you throughout the design process and helping with the selection of products to be used in your project to create the finish space, we will work toward meeting this goal and creating a space that is uniquely yours. Defining the scope and budget for a project can be a challenge, but breaking it into small portions helps to see where the total cost comes from. The finished project needs to be a space you want to spend time in and enjoy, but understanding how to get there is not always clear, so I can help clients understand and see how their decisions and selections affect their project both in the finished design and budget. I offer hourly or total project design services for Kitchen or Bathroom remodels, along with space planning for these rooms and production selection for the finished space. The cabinet line the I proudly offered is Crystal Cabinet Works, this is a cabinetry line I stand behind and know from over 20 years of experience with them and that as a company they stand behind their product.

I had the pleasure of working with JoAnn to design our new bathroom/ bedroom and walk-in closet. We took a wall down between 2 small bedrooms and created one larger one with a bigger bathroom and closet. She was so great! She has good ideas, made excellent suggestions, really created what we wanted by listening to us. She chose a beautiful cabinet line that was in our budget, did the layout and drawing and helped us with all the decisions involved with the project. We are so happy how it came out and very happy with her help. I highly recommend her!

JoAnn was easy to work with and very responsive. She came up with some creative solutions to our challenging bath situation. Her drawings were perfect and expedited the permit process. JoAnn created a beautiful kitchen and two new bathrooms for us. We were new to Santa Barbara and the home we purchased was built in the 60's and never updated. Her vision of how to create an open floor plan by re-locating the kitchen area gave us an open, welcoming floor plan. Not only does she provide vision but her attention to details resulted in a highly functioning as well as beautiful space. The bathrooms are spectacular - now modern but keeping true to the home style. I would highly recommend JoAnn for your remodel.

JoAnn is an approachable designer with an incredible amount of knowledge about construction. She is realistic and detailed with a good eye for interior styles. She is also very helpful with the many product and material choices and will equip you with the insight needed in the remodeling process. With JoAnn and a skilled contractor, you will not only survive a kitchen remodel, you will end up missing it!

JoAnn Hammond is a wonderful designer. She worked with my contractor in 2013 on a complete redesign/remodel of my 1916 home, and I worked with JoAnn again this last spring to add cabinetry to my living room. The cabinets were the last piece of the total remodel, and the results are fantastic. JoAnn always listens to what I think I want, and takes my needs and the functionality of the design into account. Her suggestions are thoughtful, and often take me in a much more effective direction that my original "plan". As someone with no real experience in remodeling a property, I wholeheartedly recommend Creative Kitchen Spaces to get the results you need, and beyond!!!

JoAnn's fingerprints are all over our remodeling projects: kitchen, guest bath, master bath and bedroom. JoAnn became my consultant, designer, teacher, advisor as we worked through these projects over what actually was several years. Knowing little about remodeling issues, we had to rely heavily on our contractor (Jason Tapia of Castle Construction of Santa Barbara) for guidance. Working as a team we were able to solve problems and ultimately end up with beautiful and practical projects. I loved having a woman on my "team" as JoAnn always seemed to understand my concerns and was able to explain what was practical, possible and/or advisable! Her personal experience helped immeasurably as did her professional knowledge of products and the workings thereof. I highly recommend using JoAnn's help in your projects most especially if you need a trusted friend I your corner! She has really good taste as well and knows what is practical and works.

JoAnn is good at combining beauty with practicality. She is very easy to work with and can incorporate your needs into her design. We first used JoAnn to design our kitchen then asked her to come back to design our handicapped hall bathroom.

The time had come to remodel our 1962 kitchen. We were introduced to JoAnn Hammond by our contractor Jason Tapia of Castle Construction. We met JoAnn at her Creative Kitchen Spaces showroom and were immediately impressed by her friendliness and experience in kitchen designing. JoAnn worked with our ideas and budget restraints and designed a new kitchen and dining area. She guided us through the many decisions of cabinets, counter surfaces and hardware. She communicated with the granite company and fabricator to coordinate their work with the cabinet installation. JoAnn also made visits to our home, first to confirm measurements before ordering cabinets, then to check accuracy of cabinet delivery and finally to oversee the granite measurement and installation. She was always available to us and our contractor and made the remodel experience fun and exciting with minimal inconvenience. We are extremely delighted and pleased with the beautiful and functional kitchen. She made it all work!

My wife and I our very satisfied with our new kitchen, designed by Creative Kitchen Spaces. The designer was very sensitive to our budgetary constraints, very knowledge of kitchen cabinetry, appliances, etc. She helped us design customized cabinets that maximizes storage. She made herself available when we had questions throughout both design and construction. She was present when cabinets were delivered to ensure the right cabinets arrived undamaged. She offered many suggestions and options to help our decisions on design, but never attempted to push one choice over the other. We highly recommend Creative Kitchen Spaces, and refer anyone who is interested to their website to find photos of our new kitchen.

JoAnn helped me with the complete remodel of my 1949 kitchen and dining room. I had been thinking about it for years and had a good idea about what I wanted. She created a design that I loved and that perfectly suited the space. She was very easy to work with and was always pleasant and professional. There are tons of decisions to be made in a remodel, many that I had never thought about, and I really appreciated her depth of knowledge and willingness to walk me through the pros and cons of various alternatives. It has turned out better than I could have ever imagined!

Kommenteret: u’m doing a complete kitchen reno, are microwave drawers recommended &Just what we are doing in our new kitchen. Seems like the steam oven will do everything that I use a microwave for, except maybe melt butter but I will be able to do that on the new induction cooktop...
