J. Schwartz LLC is an award winning, performance based Remodeler/Fine Custom Home Builder. We partner with you throughout the planning and construction process to insure that your dreams become a reality. We lead in the high-end residential market by applying our design, building science, safety, health, energy & efficiency, expertise to every project. We pay close attention to budgets, timelines and details, and are accessible to everyone involved in the project on a daily basis. We also remain open to discussion and change throughout the process. From our experience with hundreds of projects, we may see options and ideas that have not been considered; we will always offer these to you so that you have our knowledge behind you. It is our ultimate goal that the new home, addition or renovation is exactly as you wish; and we will work throughout the process to make certain that it is. We understand the complexity and difficulty associated with residential renovations and additions. We approach the scheduling and construction of all of our projects so that the disruptions to you and your family are kept to a minimum. We do not look to become a large construction business because we do not want to lose the intimate nature that residential construction deserves and requires.

It is a HUGE investment to remodel your home, and it takes a TON of planning, research and thought - at least for us. We had J Schwartz do the design and construction of a kitchen, laundry, master bedroom, suite and mudroom addition for us in 2020 (sorry it took so long to post) and we LOVE IT, and couldn't be happier. I imagined (and heard from others) that this process would be stressful and troublesome - but it was the opposite for us. We were excited and happy and informed through the whole thing, and when we had the inevitable questions, they were quickly answered. There is nothing stereotypical about this company - they care, and involved and responsive, and do amazing work.

If you are looking for a contractor with integrity and fine workmanship and all-around a good guy, look no further. Joe and his team remodeled EVERY square inch of our home (inside and out) and brought our vision to life. Our family could not be happier with our remodeled home and the ease it was working with Joe. Since finishing our home, we have had Joe back several times to work on smaller, custom projects; he and his skilled craftsmen are always on time, courteous, friendly and neat.

I’m not one to usually write reviews but thought this one was well deserved to take the time. We could not be happier with Joe and everyone at J Schwartz. We had an old solarium that was re-done into a full studded-out room. From the beginning, Joe and the crew were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Joe carefully listened to everything we had to say, guided us in decisions, and gave us a complete detailed quote. The job ran smoothly, on time, and on budget; there were no surprises. The crew was always respectful of our home, being careful as they worked and cleaned up daily. Even the inspector who came complimented on the good job being done. We are extremely pleased with the results, we love our new room. Everyone who comes over compliments us on it, and what really pleases us, they say it looks like the room was always part of the house. We highly recommend J. Schwartz, LLC Remodeling & Fine Homebuilding for any renovation/job you may have.

If you want a contractor who is on budget, on schedule and cost conscious, then choose Joe Schwartz. Joe and his team renovated our kitchen, living room and dining room. The workmanship was excellent and any changes we made to the original plan were addressed without hassle. We love our new living space. Thank you Joe for a job well done

Joe and his team did a beautiful job. They were professional, they helped guide us through some difficult steps, and they helped interact with our township inspectors, who are notoriously hard to deal with. We love our new outdoor space, which is shown in the pictures.

This project was a very unfortunate situation where a previous contractor had done sub-par and negligent work that we were hired to remedy; these situations are never "happy" and are always delicate. This took serious management of various construction issues, and expectations. I am sorry that we didn't get 5 stars, but three in this particular case will be good enough - we are happy that we were able to gently take apart, and then professionally complete this beautiful home that had been mistreated prior to our hiring.

Joe was recommended by a trusted painting contractor/friend. Three bedroom three bathroom ranch. With 50's 'modern kitchen and baths became 2015 retirement - age in place oasis. I found him to be straightforward, on time for appointments with me, and helpful in 'hearing' my needs as I downsized my living area. His workers are conscientious, and travel the extra mile to please. I've already recommended him to a satisfied friend. Please do not share my address

Joe Schwartz is able to coordinate the many trades involved in a construction project and in doing so, bring our designs to fruition. An important trait of Joe Schwartz is his ability to anticipate potential construction issues before they become issues. As is often the case in a renovation project, there is a great potential for hidden conditions to create visible problems. Joe can present a series of viable solutions for consideration by the owner and the architect. This is an extremely important asset, especially in a time-sensitive renovation project. Simply stated, his intimate involvement in each project saves the homeowner time and money. We originally contacted three contractors and were very happy when we met with Joe. Before J. Schwartz even gave their proposal, Joe pointed out a number of structural and heating issues that no one else had even recognized. We hired him because he is professional, knowledgeable and organized. Our project consisted of a badly neglected master bathroom renovation, and a renovation of the master bedroom. We moved some interior walls to make the bed and bath both larger by taking over an unused bedroom and closet. His teams of workers are all very professional, and friendly. The work is absolutely beautiful, and my husband and I could not be happier. We have even called J. Schwartz with completely unrelated issues in our home that needed attention, and they came right over and took care of us.

They created pieces that guests to the house comment about. They definitely went above and beyond, especially on projects that I needed a little "hand holding". We have survived several renovations and additions. This time, with J.Schwartz Construction, we actually enjoyed the process! Joe's team is professional, courteous, respectful of our home (and our dogs!) and very talented. They care about the project and have integrity...not something one always finds in these situations. Every phone call and email was responded to quickly and courteously...and what ever it might have been about was immediately taken care of...also a rarity. The customer webpage is terrific! It allowed us to stay updated on the project, gave us before, during and after photos, kept track of our costs and any change orders and is an easy and efficient means of communication. Follow up after completion of the addition, even with issues unrelated to the work done by J. Schwartz Construction, also were immediately addressed and we are grateful for that as well. Overall, a wonderful experience! How many times does one hear that said about having work done on their homes? Joe is a great guy and leads a great team. We would recommend him without hesitation and with lots of enthusiasm to anyone looking for a company that really delivers what it promises. We could not be any happier with our new addition. He works with a great collection of contractors and trades. Joe is very patient with his clients and goes the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied. Kommenteret: Do you have pictures of the interior?Some of the other photos show more of the interior, unfortunately I did not have the photographer take photos of the interior because it was a bit challenging based on the sizes of the rooms.
