Hired JLM for Permitted Development Cert and full plans for new build. He seemed knowledgeable on PD work which was gained, but proved to be lacking in ideas and a timewaster in creating plans for our rebuild. He needed constant chasing to complete any tasks and indeed part way through the process he simply stopped communicating, no answers to emails or phone calls with absolutely no explanation. We would certainly not recommend his service.

After discussing the conversion of our bungalow to a two storey house with a number of Architects we appointed Jon to as he was extremely helpful and professional from the outset and offered some excellent initial guidance. Jon did a great job of guiding us through the design, continually offering good advice and great design ideas whilst always being very mindful of the requirements for our home and our budget. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Jon again.

I asked Jon to produce drawings for a font and rear extension. He did this professionally and creatively. He came up with suggestions on how to utilise the space best and how to give both extensions the WOW factor. I was delighted with the outcome!

Jon provided a service which was both professional and creative. He came up with a novel design solution which had not previously occurred to us, which greatly improved light and use of space. Jon managed the planning process very efficiently. The contractors have also commented very positively on the quality of the drawings and specification.

We used Jon to get plans drawn up for our first home together. He was very professional and was able to give us advice which was both helpful and practical. His knowledge of local planning rules meant that we able to have the house of our dreams and it was made a reality by Jon himself. The builders even complemented us on having such detailed and easy to follow plans.

Jon was great and professional with supplying drawings for our extension. He was always available when needed and flexible with meeting times/places. We completed our phase one of building works (bungalow extension) and I will be in touch again to commence phase two (loft conversion), incorporating extending over the lower ground extension. Jon worked fast and had drawings available quite promptly. All fees were explained upfront with no surprises and he has great knowledge of the entire process. He was able to help explain the different stages in the process and informed me of who to contact and when. Very happy with Jon's professional service and will be using again soon.

Jon could not have been more helpful in the whole process from assisting us in selecting the ideal property to purchase for the purposes of extending, designing an ambitious but beautiful extension and renovations, taking us through the planning process (without the need for our involvement post design) and being instrumental in achieving permission to build our dream home. He has been patient, given advice and is always happy to discuss alternatives to his ideas. We have throughly enjoyed working with him and would not hesitate to recommend him (and have done) to others.

Jon gave us great ideas for our rear garden extension and even helped us with another project that wasn't part of what he was doing for us. He was extremely helpful and insightful, very professional and just a pleasure to do business with. The plans he has done are excellent and I can't recommend him more highly. We will definitely come back to Jon for our next project.

We appointed Jon Moulding to design an extension on our recently acquired home that needed modernising and extending whilst preserving the character. Due to the plot a number of options were viable, all of which Jon discussed and guided us on the most cost effective way of gaining space and achieving the final layout suited to our family lifestyle. We would certainly recommend Jon, his service has been excellent throughout.

We have recently worked with Jon on our plans to extend, remodel and add a second storey to our chalet bungalow. The entire process has been a joy, and so easy. Jon has been understanding of what we wanted to achieve whilst coming up with some new ideas we hadn't considered. He tracked our plans and spoke to the planning office when we had a query, averting an issue that could have cost us the permission. His final plans were very comprehensive, helping us to have very clear conversations with our builder. He came recommended highly to us and we would not hesitate in giving the same, high recommendation.

After failed attempts at getting planning permission, Jon came onto our home extension project and quickly turned it around. With a new and better design, he secured planning permission on the first attempt and we knew that he possessed plenty local knowledge to cope with any problems should they have arisen. He is helpful, professional and experienced. He is very knowledgeable about the do's and don't's of planning in our local council and easy to talk to so I would happily recommend Jon as a local architect of choice.
