Jordan Custom Carpentry and Remodeling

Chris did a fantastic job on two projects at our house. The first was remodeling our primary bathroom. We had a lot of different requests from building a custom cabinet to installing a "smart" shower. Ultimately, the bathroom came out beautifully and as imagined. The second project was to update our 3-season sleeping porch into a true extension of our home. The entire space was updated, including leveling the floor. Chris helped us work through a number of decisions and changes. The result is now the prettiest room in our house. Throughout both processes, Chris was very communicative and the projects were wrapped up faster than we expected they would take.

Chris was extremely professional and communicated very consistently with us throughout the renovation. He was helpful in helping us stay within our budget. The work area was always left in a clean and livable condition.

Chris Jordan is the consumate professional. At all times before and during the project Chris was: 1. On-time. Chris always was timely in showing up and communicating with us. 2. Diligent. Chris was a hard, focused worker, who focused on the job at hand and made us feel like we were his only clients (we obviously were not his only clients). 3. Delivering Quality Work. Chris is a very good carpenter and contractor and he has all the skills and tools to get the job right. He listened and communicating carefully with the subs, thereby avoiding any problems or surprises. 4. Delivering Quality Subs. Chris' team of electricians, plumbers etc were themselves high quality contractors with good communication skills. All showed up on time. 5. Clean. Chris cleaned up after all of this work, each day during the project.

Chris built a new porch and patio on the back of our house, and renovated our master tub into a walk-in shower. He managed the challenges of parts delays (anyone who has been remodeling during Covid knows what that has been like) and coordinating schedules for the various contractors quite easily. He and his crew did a wonderful job on all fronts. Without exception Chris is the most professional, conscientious, and high quality contractor that we’ve had the pleasure of working with in the 20 years that we’ve owned our home. We will definitely call on Chris again for our next remodel/renovation project.

Chris did most of a kitchen re-modeling project for us, picking up/taking over when someone else fell through and we were lucky to find him! He did an amazing job, on time, and within budget. He was extremely professional and responsive, we would use him again in a heart beat!

Chris did a project in partnership with our interior decorator. We can absolutely recommend him. He was always on time, prepared and the work he did himself and the contractors he brought into our home were all excellent. Very professional, concerned about the best outcome, respectful of being in our house and of cleaning up at the end of every day. The finished product was absolutely beautiful and there were no surprises in terms of billing. Chis is very easy to work with--nice guy, super responsive, always prepared.

We worked with Chris to finish our basement in the fall of 2018 and couldn't be happier. As the space is pretty simple and we wanted it for the kids, we didn't want to spend a lot of money. He came up with creative ideas, helped prioritize what we could save vs spend money on, came in on budget and completed the job on time. We would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to friends.

In September 2018 we hired Chris Jordan of Jordan Custom Carpentry to gut and re-model our small 1980s master bathroom. We discussed our vision for the bathroom and what we wanted to incorporate. Chris added some great ideas and options on how to get the most out of this small space. We mutually agreed on a budget and that the project would start on 10-12-18. Chris began this project on the day he said he would. He brought in his demo team and they gutted the space. They were fast, efficient and cleaned the space before they left. The quality of his work and those who came in as subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, plasterers, tiler, painters, and glass installers were all outstanding. They all paid close attention to detail and gave us the bathroom we asked for. Chris’s outstanding management of this project was transparent and seamless. Any questions we had during the project were immediately answered by Chris either via email or phone or in person. And when something came up that involved choices or preferences, Chris sought our input. We were very impressed with how clean he left the site each afternoon and how he was always there when he said he would be. Chris had given us a 6 week time frame for this project. The bathroom was completed on time and on budget. We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom and with quality of work provided by Chris and his crew. It was an absolute pleasure working with Chris! We would wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone considering a renovation. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you fail to at least contact him to discuss your project. Words cannot describe the incredible experience we had working with Chris Jordan. His vision for our oversized master closet that he transformed into a master bath, closet and laundry area was beyond what we could have imagined. Jordan is not only a pleasure to work with but treats the job as if he is in his own home. He is a true craftsman that takes great pride in all aspects of his work. His seamless management of all the moving parts while creating this space (electricians, plumber, painters, plasterers, tile installers, carpet installer) made this project seem as if it was barely happening in our home. Chris has an amazing eye for detail, making sure that our bedroom looked as if the new additions had always been there. Chris Jordan was recommended to us by another professional who knew the quality of his work and told us he was a great guy. He was 100% right on the money. Chris did an outstanding job on the new French doors we needed off a second floor room and new columns, bases and caps installed on my front portico.
