Julie Zeldin Landscape and Garden Design

I cannot thank Julie enough for creating my dream garden. She took full account of all my requirements- lawned area for football games, trampoline to be hidden in a corner, hardy planting to cope with children and dogs, low maintenance, all year colour and to create a view from my elevated terrace to rival the best in North London. She worked assiduously with the contractors to ensure that we stayed in budget and the project was delivered in a timely fashion. Renovating a house and garden is a stressful job but Julie helped to keep me in good humour and created a beautiful, peaceful oasis that continues to bring joy.

Julie and I have worked on several projects over the time that I've known her and it’s always been pleasure to helping install her varied and inspiring designs. Julie is always organised and carefully selective on her use plants and trees used in designs. In each project I've been involved in quality stock is used on both large and smaller gardens. The results she gets are indicative of her knowledge and creative work.

This is the second garden that Julie has designed for us so I already knew before we started that I was going to be happy with both the process and the result. As before, she listened carefully to what we wanted from the garden and how we wanted the space to work. The space was a challenge – small, north facing, heavy clay soil, two naughty terriers who like to dig, etc but she addressed all of these issues and came up with a design that is both imaginative and practical, as well as easy to maintain. The weather during the build was terrible but she handled any complications in her stride and we now have a wonderful garden which is blossoming as we head into our first Spring. I also know that she will always be available for input and advice as the garden develops. On a personal level, she is a pleasure to work with - funny, easy going, considerate but with a wealth of knowledge and ideas. I would highly recommend her.

Julie is terrific! She thoughtfully and carefully created a beautiful family garden for us. It blends seamlessly with the architecture of the house and is low maintenance & looks every bit as good 4 years on as when it was installed. I really enjoy the colours, textures & play of light & shade. So pleased.
