Happy with end result. Few supplier delays along the way but Mike dealt with these well and did all he could to ensure completion on time. Mike is incredibly helpful and skilled and goes the extra mile to ensure good results. Strongly recommend.

I met with four different kitchen designers when looking for someone to remodel my kitchen. I had some quite definite ideas about what I wanted, including taking down some of the exterior wall to install bifold doors into the garden. I also wanted three separate areas - a cooking area, dining area and a seating area for a couple of armchairs. I needed lighting that could be changed to give different moods - fairly bright in the cooking area but more subtle in the dining area. Three of the designers seemedto have little or no imagination; all they wanted to do was fit there own products into the space based on my ideas. Mike Taylor was different; he listened to all my requests and ideas and he drew three different designs including front elevations so that I had a very clear idea of how each design would look. He also had some great ideas for mood lighting, including ones embedded in shelves and under the island, all on separate switches for maximum configurations. We discussed and tweaked my chosen design, with Mike making sure that I would have enough storage space and enough worktop spacebased on my original brief. The unique thing about Mike is that he personally oversees the project through from design to build and finish. He organised a builder, he came with me to choose doors, worktops, sink and taps. He is always at the other end of the phone for help or advice. I love my new kitchen; it is everything I wanted it to be and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike Taylor to everyone.

It has been a complete pleasure working with Mike. We first met him in October 2012 when we were going to replace the kitchen in our previous home, but we decided to leave it as it was & get Mike back in to do our "forever kitchen". We moved house last year (2016) & Mike was one of the first calls we made. He is collaborative and flexible - he was happy to revise plans until we reached a design and cost we were happy with. The kitchen we now have is solid wood which we have had painted in two tones of gray. Mike's kitchen fitter, Geoff, and his painting team were also a pleasure to have in the house. I have recommended Mike to friends and we are absolutely delighted with our beautiful, high quality kitchen. Mike had lots of suggestions and was helpful & patient throughout our rather long build process - we were doing a complete house refurb and changing a second sitting room into the kitchen, so we had to start from scratch. He has gone above and beyond and maintained good communication throughout.

We liked Mike as soon as we spoke to him, and looked forward to his visits. He is incredibly easy to talk to, never patronises, and knows his business inside and out. His kitchen furniture is solid and well-made, and will hopefully last us a very long time! There are no hidden costs with Mike: he's honest about his costs right from the start. In fact, he's honest about everything - which is great, as it means no nasty surprises. Throughout the process, from the very first phone call until completion, he was always to hand, checking in with us often, sometimes with questions, sometimes just to check we were happy. He even came armed with coffee and breakfast some days! He is an absolute stickler for detail. Every different option is given, with pros and cons. He has great contacts and ideas about where to buy worktops; appliances; floors and so on. But he was equally happy to take one some ideas that we had researched ourselves. And I cannot speak highly enough about the builder he recommended, Piotr. We're delighted with our kitchen and really feel that not only are Mike's kitchens beautiful, but he really took the hassle and stress out of having such extensive work being done.

Mike since day one was creative with the overall design. He advised on best lay out for the kitchen, he always listened our ideas and incorporated them in the concept As for quality, we are extremely pleased with the high quality of the cabinets, the final touch ups and the time spent on finishing details. He was on time, on budget and as we envisioned a perfect kitchen.

Mike Taylor has been a pleasure to have as kitchen designer and project manager. We have a somewhat quirky house and needed someone with vision to turn a pokey, dark and badly designed space into a beautiful, light and functional kitchen and dining room. This involved knocking down a wall and some building work. Mike gave us every opportunity to be involved at all stages and was very attentive during the whole process. He has excellent contacts with the various trades and all work was done efficiently and to a very high standard. The work was carried out by very capable builders he brought on board and the kitchen fitters and painter are obsessional over the final finish. The kitchen cabinets are built to a very high standard and everything was designed as we wished. Even the dog has a special place built in for her bed! The results have exceeded our expectations and we have had so many compliments since completion. Highly recommended!

Mike and his company are a quality outfit from start to finish. On initially meeting mike he listened to what I wanted and from then on he delivered an immaculate kitchen that was free from worry and stress. He communicated brilliantly throughout so I was never in any doubt as to what was happening - sometimes a quality that is taken for granted. I would highly recommend mike's company.

Mike was excellent, calming and thorough managing the largest and most challenging project in our house (kitchen,large communal area, joining sitting room and heated flooring throughout). He made daily visits and calls, overseeing and meticulously agreeing details and ideas and adaptions that we requested along the way as our visions developed. He provided trusted quality products and charming skilled craftsmen and women, and arranged for us to speak with and visit suppliers where necessary, like choosing our specific granite. The results were later photographed and appeared in Good Homes magazine.

Mike designed and installed a kitchen for us in 2015 and he was a pleasure to work with. He was endlessly patient as we had quite a long wait until we could go ahead with the kitchen, and extremely attentive. He worked hard to get every detail right and was very flexible about working with us and our builders. While the kitchen units were being installed he visited the site every day or two to make sure the project was going as planned. The artisans that he sent to build and paint the kitchen, and measure up, manufacture and install the worktops and splash backs all worked to a very high standard and all were both co-operative and pleasant with us and our builders. The kitchen cupboards are well built to a very high standard. He was happy to give us every assurance that his company was reputable and financially sound and we took up references from other customers before going ahead. We are very happy with the final result and have no hesitation in recommending Mike Taylor Bespoke Kitchens.

Mike Taylor designed and built a completely new kitchen for us. He took our ideas and thoughts and produced detailed drawings for us to review and amend. He interpreted our ideas superbly and also added his own unique flair and look to the project. Mike's attention to detail is second to none.
