Julie has been designing beautiful kitchens and baths for over 30 years, she has a vast knowledge of the process and challenges clients face when designing their dream kitchen or bath. Her skilled eye is adapt at solving space planning issues and creating a solution that is not only beautiful but functions like a dream. Once she has designed your most functional floor plan, she moves on to coordination and product specification. Her team help coordinate your whole space, from cabinet design and countertop selection, to helping you select lighting, backsplashes and more. Though Julie Williams Design does not provide labor, they follow each job through to completion. Our clients projects have varied from whole house to a single room, but one thing is certain, they are always quick to return for their next project or tell their friends about Julie's great eye and comprehensive service. She often is asked to help with both traditional styles as well as transitional and contemporary design. Our projects are concentrated in Marin and Sonoma Counties but Julie has traveled to help her clients with their new homes in Nevada, Oregon, Boston and even Sweden. I chose to work with Julie because a neighbor of mine had engaged her to renovate her kitchen. I loved the design and quality of the work in my neighbor's house, that gave me the confidence to move ahead with a renovation of my own. In addition to a complete redesign of the kitchen, we also renovated a small, downstairs bath, the master bath and master closet. This was the first time I'd ever been involved in a renovation. I experienced some anxiety throughout the process (so many beautiful choices. . . . how to settle on one?. . . . would all the choices work together?), and throughout the process Julie was patient and reassuring. We first met in the Spring of 2018 to begin the design process, and construction began in the Fall of 2018. There were some "hiccups". during the master bath reno, a "cap" came off one of the stubbed in plumbing pipes (the fault of no one), which necessitated my being out of my house for 6 months. fortunately the kitchen and downstairs bath (already completed) were not harmed. after dealing with the flood that had occurred, things got back on track, completing everything in Fall 2019. I could not be happier.

We hired Julie Williams Design for a complete kitchen and bath remodel. In our initial search for a designer, I came to Houzz and spent hours looking for kitchen/space designs and found Julie Williams Design projects consistently showed up on my radar. While we consulted a few designers in our area, Julie inspired confidence not only for her exceptional talent in space design, but also for her ability to hone in on and help us fine tune what we were looking for. She took what was an overwhelming task for me and made it a wonderful experience. From start to finish, the project was a breeze and my kitchen is beautiful. I credit this to Julie's depth of experience, standard of excellence and the knack for surrounding herself with people of the same caliber. I look forward to working with Julie Williams Design on future projects.

Julie helped design and implement a major remodel of our family room, kitchen and bathrooms, as well as provide advice and counsel throughout the house. We could not be more pleased! She works with an experienced and talented team of other professionals, whose services, skills and workmanship are top notch, including architect Joseph Farrell of Novato and contractor Seamus McGuinness of San Anselmo. The team led by Julie provided excellent counsel and design services, and the workmanship and results are showcase quality.

As an architect, I have struggled to find an interior design consultant to collaborate with on my projects. About 8 years ago I was fortunate enough to work with Julie on a new residential project that turned out fabulous with very happy owners. Julie has an exceptional design aesthetic, is easy to work with and is very technically capable. Many interior designers are great at design concepts, but struggle with construction details. Julie knows design and how to put it all together which makes her a valuable member of a design team.

Julie Williams is just what we needed. At her initial visit to our home, Julie spent some time with us sizing up the job--and us. We were looking for guidance and expertise, and Julie provided both, along with her formidable energy and enthusiasm. When we met for the first of our formal planning meetings, Julie presented samples, suggestions and possible plans that spoke directly to us. In subsequent meetings Julie offered assistance, responded to our concerns, and helped us make decisions. This would have been a much more onerous, stressful project without Julie's assistance.. Today, we are enjoying our beautiful kitchen, and so are our friends and family. We are grateful to Julie and her wonderful team for making it happen.

Julie & her team are amazing. We have a toddler and lived through a painless remodel of our kitchen, pantry, laundry room, dining area & powder room. She & her team covered every detail and were attentive to our wants & needs. From listening to our desires in styles/colors to providing a detailed binder for our construction crew, they were on point and thorough. We are an extremely busy, working family and Julie and the team worked around our schedule and made sure everything went smoothly. Our end results exceed our expectations and our house is now an amazing home!

Julie did a full house remodel for us, working closely with our architect and contractor. This project included an addition; flipping the entire floor plan of the first floor; moving walls; full kitchen remodel; 5 bathrooms, etc. Julie and her team are a true pleasure to work with. They always have the best interest of the client in mind. Julie asks very insightful and thought provoking questions, to be sure her clients are in tune with their needs and wants. She wants to be sure she is designing spaces that will meet both short term and long term needs. Julie absolutely is an expert at making the most of the spaces she is designing - the rooms flow beautifully, are impeccably designed, functional and gorgeous. She knows how to make the most of a budget, to make smart and cost effective decisions. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, from the larger design elements, down to all the trims, hardware, outlet placement, and so on. You can always count on Julie to share her honest opinions with you, and to challenge you to think "outside of the box". We highly recommend Julie and her staff, we are very lucky to have the pleasure of working with her.

We met Julie and her team through simple good fortune. She and my partner and I gelled immediately, and seemed to be on the same page from the beginning. We explained to her what our goals were and within about ten days we met at her office to look at her ideas. The best thing about Julie is that she challenged us to think about how we were going to use the space and what we really wanted. Turns out what we thought we wanted may not have worked out so well. Julie's solution was perfect-elegant and beautiful. We worked with one of the contactors she recommended, and she and her staff were involved from beginning to end. All we had to do was live through the reality of a remodel. The project encompassed our entire first floor and turned out better than we could have imagined. Our home was transformed and became the functional space we always wanted. We highly recommend Julie because she has the experience to be confident, to challenge her clients, and to know exactly how the project should work, from beginning to end.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Julie Williams and her staff. I was getting ready to do a total kitchen remodel and expansion. After talking to several potential designers, I knew I had met the right one when I first met Julie Williams. Julie was better than my architect in designing the kitchen. Julie spent an incredible amount of time with me, getting to know me and what I wanted in my new kitchen. She had some of the best idea that I had never thought of. And today, I am the beneficiary of the implementation of these ideas. Julie recommended a contractor who ended up being the best contractor ever. So between Julie, her staff and the contractor she recommended, my remodel was smooth sailing all the way. From the planning stage to picking the finishes and the installation, Julie was always there. Her staff is very friendly, accommodating and competent. No one ever made me feel like I was bothering them. Today, everyone who walks into my new kitchen cannot believe how beautiful it is. I owe it all to Julie Williams. As a matter of fact, Julie and I have become very good friends.

I have worked with Julie Williams design for 15 years. Julie and her team are excellent designers who develop cutting edge designs. Over the years her designs have own multiple awards and have been featured in manufactures catalogs and magazines. In all of the years rs that I have worked with Julie and her team I know of not a single customer who was not completely satisfied. I know that Julie's business is based on referrals because he has happy customers. I would use Julie on my own home without a second thought and feel confident that it would turn out beautifully.

Julie and her team provided excellent design work, guidance and service from start to finish. They are extremely knowledgable and provided extensive resources to help me with the decision making process. Julie takes pride in making the finished project as good as it can be and it shows. I am thrilled with how my new kitchen turned out.
