Family owned and operated since 1936, Bill Vandegrift, Inc. holds a long-standing tradition of personal attention and professional appliance installation. Four generations of Vandegrifts have assisted the residents of Doylestown and the surrounding areas, and the family’s high level of customer service has kept clients coming back to the same location since 1963. The building in the current New Britain location has expanded with over eight additions since the first move from the original appliance store location on South Main Street in Doylestown, and the business continues to grow.

The owner Lindsay told me she would call her attorney if we left a bad review. Her intimation did not work. This was our third and FINAL purchase. We bought a dishwasher and paid BV to install it. The installer partly installed it, but he did not have all the parts, and he told us he would be back in a few days...he never came back or called until we had the machine removed from our home. The dishwasher would not dry, and they stopped working altogether. BV was no help, and we did call the manufacturer and were able to get a refund only because the manufacturer stepped in . BV still charged us for an install they never completed and refused to refund it, and the dishwasher was removed for being a lemon. It was about $290. I even offered to split it and was told NO...total rip-off for charging us for something that was NEVER completed We try to buy mom & pop but this kind of purchase you are better at big box stores. Thank you, Lowes, for saving the day Thanks to the manufacturer for stepping in when BV ignored us PS, always use a credit card here. We made the mistake of using a check.

The prices are great, the service is exceptional and the installers are friendly and conscientious. I always learn something new when I stop in to see if they have something particular that I am looking for in an appliance. I don't even look elsewhere and have no regrets. They make my busy life easier!
