We contacted Andy regarding converting our 3 season porch into a bathroom and extension to our living room. Deposit was given in April 2018. After 2 months of waiting I checked on the permits with the town and found out no permit was submitted. I called Andy and after giving me some excuses regarding his family I was patient and decided to still go with him. We then provided a start of work payment. Work did not begin for another month after more family excuses. Work was very slow done sporadically with mostly us having to call Andy daily to get him to show up. He showed up sometimes for a period of only one hour. Debris and garbage still remains in my yard including nails, glass and siding. He then asked us for a payment for the windows which we provided which was a mistake on our end since none of the work including finish the floor or fully finishing the framing was ever completed, incorrect replacement and basement windows were installed in a new frames which are uneven and one has since cracked. At this point I presented Andy a contract asking Andy to part ways and return some money so that I could recoup some of my lost time as well as get rid of the garbage once he was gone. He agreed and this was in December 2018. He never returned part of the money, garbage was never collected and most of the things drawn up in our contract never completed. This was the worst experience I have ever had I feel I have been scammed. I have since contacted a lawyer.
