Louis is one of the most organized, professional and talented people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He was instrumental in making our dream home come to be just that, and went above and beyond to guide the project from start to finish. When we did a major renovation on our house, he worked with us to make sure everything was how it should be, and even kept our contractor accountable. Meeting with him and seeing his work never disappointed, not even once, which is huge given the scope of our project.

My partner and I can not say enough great things about our designer Louis D-He. We didn’t know what we liked or wanted but Louis helped us figure it out in an approachable and fun way. Louis is an amazing designer who took our eclectic, divergent preferences and helped create a beautiful, cozy, vibrant home which reflects who we are perfectly. An amazing designer with a dash of therapist / life coach / couples counselling. We are so happy.

Louis is easy to work with and full of ideas, which made for a powerful combination as we overhauled our entire house. He transformed our home into an stunning, elegant and comfortable space that reflects our style, which we didn't realize we had until he sat with us for a couple hours to understand our likes and dislikes. His approach to design is a dialogue: he's willing to listen and offer suggestions while making sure it all fits with the overall look and feel of the design. This project shifted as it went (we added new floors, a new bathroom, kids' rooms and more during the renovation!) and Louis was right there for reassurance and to make sure we never lost sight of how it all needed to come together.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Louis and are thrilled with the results. Louis was highly recommended to us by several friends. I really appreciated his detailed project management and transparent fee structures. I always knew exactly how much I was paying for his time as well as for trades and products. We saved a substantial amount of money when he passed along his designer discounts to us, so this made his already reasonable fees even more affordable. He spent a lot of time understanding our style and what we were looking for. I really enjoyed being involved in the design process, making suggestions, and making a lot of my own selections. Louis worked with my ideas very smoothly and would incorporate my good ideas while gently pointing out the issues for me to consider with my not-so-good ideas. Our goals for the project were to refresh our main level and to completely redo our preteen son's room. He did a great job working with our son and making sure that he captured his personality and style in his bedroom. I love that the choices made for our main level really allowed our existing pieces to mix seamlessly with the new pieces. Everything flows together beautifully. We didn't realize our house could look this good.

Louis was great to work with! He worked closely with us to ensure that he was providing us exactly what we were looking for, even though we had no idea what we even wanted. Louis was very detailed in his approach in finding out our likes, dislikes and even managed to blend my husband and my two very different styles to ensure the final product suited us perfectly. Louis was able to incorporate pieces that we already owned and came in under budget and even did a few updates in other areas that we weren’t focused on! He was able to modernize our home while making it inviting and comfortable, exactly what we were looking to do. I can’t wait to work with him again on future refreshes in our home!

I don't think I even realized how much our house could be improved until Louis worked his magic. It is so warm and inviting, while also being clean and structured. He spent a lot of his time getting to know our taste, and made sure we had lots of options and input throughout. And as promised, stayed well within budget. Could not be happier!

Hiring Louis was one of the best decisions we made to ensure our new home looked amazing with minimal effort on our end, while still suiting our style and life perfectly. We managed to move into our newly built home and have it look completely polished with photos and art on every wall and all the finishing touches done within a month of moving in. This was priceless. No one can believe how put together our home looks when we only moved in months ago. It would have taken years to get it to this stage on our own and even still it wouldn't have looked nearly as good.

Louis was absolutely wonderful to work with! We were in the process of building a new home when we hired him, and we were definitely in over our heads. He worked with us throughout the build and our move to ensure that our vision was met. He made the entire process so easy and fun at the same time. He is so professional in all that he does, and his design and decor ideas are phenomenal. He got to know our family well, and ensured that he brought our ideas and personalities to our new home, all the while making it beautiful and functional. Our home is more beautiful than I could even have imagined! He even came in way under budget somehow, even though we ended up buying more than we had initially planned for! Louis is so talented, personable and so much fun to work with. I would not hesitate to hire him again. In fact, I have...and I have recommended him to many friends as well.

We recently built a brand new him which we love. The next step of decorating/designing made me realize I had bitten off more than I could chew! From our first meeting, Louis was able to put my ideas and visions into words and materialize it into an incredible reality. He kept the modern feel of our home while adding a sense of family, warmth, and love. We couldn’t be happier with the results. And my 16mo old loves his comfortable chic play areas too :)

Louis is simply amazing at what he does. A natural born talent, he has the ability to bring people's vision and ideas to life. I was particularly impressed by his ability to pick a colour palette that fits exactly with what we were looking for. His attention to the finest details - positioning, composition, and the flow of the room all came together throughout out the house. Louis is personable, he took the time to listen and ask thoughtful questions to learn more what we wanted and even showed us different options - many of which we went with and are quite happy we did. He even helped us to organize our place during mid renovations, offered to help clean up, a real pleasure to deal with. Well organized, Louis had a detailed project plan and walked us step-by-step through the whole process and stuck to timelines, deliverables, and we felt confident we could leave everything in his hands. In the end, Louis gave us a beautifully designed home which functions well for children. We are thrilled with what he did for us, and we have no doubt you will have a wonderful experience with Louis as well.
