I would highly recommend Maria Causey for ANY interior design/decorating projects. She is knowledgeable, honest, easy to work with and listens to the needs of her client. This was so important to us. We are a busy house with 3 boys. We wanted our basement and main level to be comfortable and “family friendly” but look nice and put together at the same time. Maria achieved that. We absolutely love the color scheme she chose for our basement and could never have chosen those colors on our own. Our main level is bright and beautiful thanks to paint, lighting and furniture that Maria chose for us. She has great vision and definitely respects the budget, on top of all that she’s fun to work with!

Maria and her team were fantastic! She helped us make all our remodel selections through great ideas and samples, managed the ordering process, got all the right contractors involved (many of whom we still use), and made sure everything was done and white glove delivered by our deadline! She’s creative, experienced, and fun to work with! We’d highly recommend Maria and team!

Maria was everything I was looking for in an interior designer. Her ability to quickly "get" our style and needs put me at ease almost immediately. Where I was feeling stuck and couldn't choose between options, she weighed in and helped me move forward. When I was completely lost about where to start with something, she would quickly pull up on her tablet ideas and options to help me articulate and solidify my thinking. It is like she has this massive catalog in her head! What impressed me most is her respect for our budget - she never made recommendations that were out of our reach. Bottom line: We are thrilled with how our project is turning out. I HIGHLY recommend Maria Causey Interior Design!

When struggling to find the perfect accessory, paint color, piece of furniture etc., all it takes is one call to Maria and she has the uncanny ability to provide the perfect recommendation. She was an invaluable resource in decorating our newly renovated bathroom. It wouldn't have turned out as fabulous as it is without her suggestions and input.

Maria worked with me on a few projects in our home and she's delightful to work with. She listens to what you hope to accomplish and has great ideas that you wouldn't think of yourself, which is, of course, why one hires a designer. Maria helped me choose beautiful paint colors for much of our home, helped us create a gorgeous master bedroom and bath, a beautiful dining room and kitchen, and a very dramatic powder room. She also help us with custom window treatments in a couple of rooms. All have turned out beautifully! In our master bedroom we had some lovely, very traditional cherry bedroom furniture still in very good condition. I wanted to change up the room to have more of a rich, romantic old-world style, but I didn't feel like we could afford to change out all the furniture. Maria did a marvelous job of bringing in more old-world elements and combining them with what we already had to create an effect that we were thrilled with. Both my husband and I LOVE our bedroom! And, unlike a previous designer we worked with, Maria understands how to stay on budget!

Maria worked with me to redo most of the main floor of my house. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but I had an idea of some of the colors I like. Maria transformed that into a beautiful and comfortable living space that feels just right. It was a big job, including moving walls and installing new flooring, and there were a lot of different workmen involved, but she kept the whole project on track. Maria gave me sketches of what things were going to look like, and provided the workmen with exact measurements for where to put lights, etc., and when the workmen needed more guidance she was always available. Maria really paid attention to what I wanted, even though I couldn't fully articulate what that was, and now I love my home. I'd hire her again.

We renovated our condo. I had the pleasure of working with Maria who was our interior designer. She listens to your likes, dislikes and studies your tastes in design. She takes all of that information in and brings it together with her creativity and design talent. Her design was perfect for me, delightful in its balance of my sense of tradition and fun. She picked out items I would never have picked out but I immediately resonated to them and love the look.

I have worked with Maria as her installer on a couple of projects. She is a delight to work with. She's thorough and works hard to minimize any surprises. In short, she is a great partner. We hired Maria to redesign our basement for multiple uses. Our family has two children that are six and under. We wanted the family room to include our stereo system, books, and photos and not just be taken over by toys. Our guest room also doubles as an office. Maria carefully listened to our needs and worked within budget to come with recommendations that were stylish and practical. Maria is a true professional and a real pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend her to our friends.
