MEGAN CRANE DESIGNS, INC. is a multi-award winning interior design firm led by Principal Designer Megan Crane and offers unique and innovative designs to residential and hospitality clientele. Megan’s career began with The Walt Disney Company where she spent over 15 years in a creative capacity for the worldwide Theme Parks and Cruise Lines. Her experience and extensive international travels have allowed her to integrate many different cultural and architectural details into her work, lending a distinct perspective to her designs. Utilizing her innate design sensibility, she then went on to set styling, producing and providing artistic direction on numerous photo shoots for the Disney Catalog. Megan’s career then transitioned to providing hospitality design services on several projects for The Disney Hotels spanning from renovating hotel lobbies and meeting rooms to re-designing lounges and cafes. Megan received her Associate of Arts degree from the Interior Designers Institute, a private FIDER accredited design school in Newport Beach, California. I have worked on many project's over the years with Megan Crane, she's is very professional, talented and knowledgeable in design. Megan works with the client's and a team of professionals to see that the project is successful from concept to completion.

I have had the pleasure of working with Megan over the past 6 years on multiple projects for our previous home, and now on our current home. She is not only very talented and professional, but also very fun to work with and extremely efficient. It is an investment to spend the money on furnishing your home, and you want to make absolutely sure you choose the right person that can help you transform your house into the home that you've always wanted. I have worked with her on a wide variety of projects ranging from custom entertainment center design, complete master bedroom project, nursery, children's rooms, artwork framing, and most recently, outdoor furniture for our newly renovated backyard. I am always so excited to see how she will take the vague ideas I have for each project and incorporate them into a really beautiful and custom design with multiple layers and elements. My family and I truly enjoy coming home to our beautifully designed home every day.

Megan Crane Designs remodeled our guest bathroom this spring. We're so very pleased with the results. Megan turned a dated bathroom with limited storage into a functional, fresh and modern space with lots of storage. It's beautiful and stylish with a spa-like feel. The bathroom space feels a lot larger now. We have worked with Megan and her team on several projects for our home, both medium and small scale. In all cases, she asked the right questions and listened carefully to us to learn exactly what style we're after. We feel that Megan really "gets" what we like and need; we really appreciate that she listens to us. Megan respects our budget and presents great options for our price range. Her work is completed on schedule and she communicates frequently to keep progress moving forward. She's warm, friendly and very professional. I enthusiastically recommend Megan Crane Designs.

Megan Crane was a pleasure to work with us, our contractor, Patterson Construction who built our house and Audio Visions. She assisted with floor plans, design, color scheme as well as choosing cabinetry and hardware, lighting, plumbing, floor surfaces, tile and stone, paint, wallpaper, furniture, window coverings, rugs, reframing of our artwork, furniture and accessories. She has great subcontractors (wallpaper hanger, shades, picture hanger and framer) who are truly professional. Time management was important since we both work. She came to meetings prepared and organized. She worked within our timeframe, budget and was great at value engineering if needed. I do not hesitate in recommending her for your project.

I have photographed a few projects for Megan. She is a very talented designer with a great eye for color, texture and scale. I always look forward to her projects as I know there will be an amazing surprise element in her work. I love that she thinks of the ceiling as one of the largest surfaces in a living space and brings detail to it. On the day of a photo-shoot she always has some amazing accesories which helps me to get lot of different views of the spaces she had designed.

Megan and her team were great partners during our recent design project, which included our living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, powder room, nursery, master bedroom, master bath. Megan dedicates the requisite amount of time and energy early in the process to ensure that she understands your aesthetic and that her design recommendations will complement your style, while also remaining cohesive throughout the home. After the initial meetings, she presents design options in such a way that you can see it coming together (floor plans, fabric samples, etc.). Because she remains true to the agreed upon aesthetic, we often found we could mix and match options between the recommendations, to correspond to our personal preferences. I also found that she was a good collaborator in helping my husband and I to align, to ensure both of us were happy, in the end. Our finished product is a home where we find comfort, with the perfect balance of sophistication and livability. Our friends often complement Megan's work when we entertain at our home. With three children under the age of five, we've even found that Megan's design work is complemented by Legos, dump trucks, and dolls. Now that is talent. We highly recommend Megan Crane Designs. Thanks, Megan. We wish you nothing but success.

I hired Megan Crane Designs to help with remodeling / interior design ideas for a newly acquired home in Newport Beach that needed some updating. This involved the living room (including new furniture) and renovation of a powder room, among other things. Not only were Megan's ideas completely in sync with the look I was going for (mid-Century modern), but she worked within our suggested budget and was always responsive when any follow-up was required. She is a consummate professional, an absolute delight to work with and an excellent designer. She has a terrific eye and "gets it" the first time. I would recommend her without hesitation.
