McDowell & Jordan has built dozens of new custom homes. As a homebuilder, our goal isn’t simply to construct a house. We want to create a home that matches your personality, lifestyle and dreams. Our custom-built homes typically incorporate custom architectural details and carefully selected fixtures and materials. Brick exteriors, hardwood floors, imported tile and built-in shelves are also commonly requested features. We can handle the entire project, from initial plans and site preparation to final landscaping.

McDowell & Jordan are awesome! They built our house 16 years ago, and have recently been back for some improvements. Always do a wonderful job, and so nice to deal with!!

As a design professional who has worked with Josh on many projects, I am happy and confident to recommend his work to any of my clients. He communicates extremely well with his customers and all have great confidence and trust that he will do what he says he will do and look after their best interests. He is exacting and particular about his workmanship. It has been my observation that anyone who works with him continues to work with him on following projects.

Most recently Josh McDowell served as the general contractor i/r/o a major addition ($500,00+) to our home. This house, in fact, was built in 1982 by his partner Barney Jordan. I keep returning to this pairing because of their attention to details, quality of work, employing responsive subs and their flexibility in addressing changes as the construction develops. To them what is "behind the walls" is just as critical to the construction as what you see on the exterior. You will not find a better GC in this county.

McDowell and Jordan, LLC Construction provided renovation services for my primary residence as well as two out buildings. The services included painting, new metal roofs, a new front entry way and insulating. All services were performed to my satisfaction and Josh McDowell did an excellent job of managing all of the subcontractors. Josh worked hard to make sure the work done by subcontractors was up to code and done properly. Josh performs excellent carpentry work and makes sure the work site is clean and orderly. I continue to use McDowell and Jordan, LLC for jobs around my home (most recently some aluminum trim work). Josh will tackle both large and small jobs for the home owner / builder and is very responsive.

Josh McDowell and his crew do meticulous work. They did an update to our home, including window replacement, new roof, improved HVAC, etc. Subcontractors hired for the project were first rate. Josh is completely trustworthy and fair.
